pennywise
WEll I was wondering how you pronounce, Ardougne, I simple pronounce it Ar-Done Eight Bananas, MD.
Hawty_Wins_Ya
Well, seeing as I remember when Ardougne came out back in RSC, I was very little then and pronounced it Ar-dugg-nuh. Ever since then it has stuck even though I know it's pronounced differently. :D

hazardmaster
Ard-rouge I never really knew the real pronounciation. Once you start to pronounce something you can't learn the correct way. e.g In an IRL book there is acharchter called Bartimaeus. He is meant to be pronounced Bar-tim-ay-us (just realized the pronounciation page in the 2nd book) but I already used to "Bar-tim-us".
dwarfie76
I don't think I've ever said it out loud, but in my mind it's "Ar-Doon" (rhymes with 'noon')
Danyo
ar-dune plain and simple "How you act when no one is looking is the clearest indicator of the strength or depravity of your true character. " yeah, he's deffinetly a little excited...dont worry its not a glitch...d legs are meant to stretch in that area for that reason.

maveritchell
Ar-dong? Ahh-Drog-Aknee? Ar-Dong-Ee? Ar-De-Gone? Ard-rouge? Where are you guys even getting some of those letters? I can see the Arr-Dug-Nee pronunciations, ok, so you spoke it phonetically. I can see the Arr-Doon-Ye, so you spoke it like you were speaking Spanish. Strictly speaking, English-wise, it should be Arr-Doon. Ar- Like a pirate! Dougne- Like Frank Herbert. -Gn makes the "N" sound, like in "Gnu." -E on the end makes it sound like "Ne." -Dou, in English, when followed by a consonant sound, makes the "Doo" sound. Ar- Should be self explanatory Phonetically spelled Ardoone.
