BEST MONEY PER HOUR SKILL?

Featured Replies

Hey I am wondering which are the best money making skills nowdays? (preferably gathering ones). I just came back from a long break and been doing nothing but Divination and its somewhat decent money/hour

but its getting quite boring... I want to start making some money while working on my total XP. so what are the best skills to train nowdays that makes some serious money?

(I'd like to point out that I am not a big fan of bossing or killing stuff, I just want XP and Money.)

So if you could provide me with some tips and maybe xp/h and/or money/h from skilling, It would be greatly appreciated.

My stats are in my sig.

for the most part skilling for cash is atrocious, based on what i have seen most of the suggestions you will get will say you should just boss/do Pvm. if you want to skill you are going to have a hard time getting more than a few hundred k an hour, which by most standards is not very serious cash per hour.

Hmmpff the thing is, I suck at bosses and other hard monsters because of my bad and unstable internet connection :/ are there really not any non-combat skills that are worth it?

Unicows that are suggested is easy to the point where I doubt anyone could take any damage from. But it may involve getting Ardy cape (perhaps at least 3?)

rune wiki has a pretty decent guide on moneymaking:

http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Money_making

It doesn't include high level bossing and some of the skilling method profits are highly volatile, but generally does a good job.

First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.

First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.

First to 4664 Port Score on 2. March, 2015.

If you are good at dungeoneering you can sell floors. I average 6-9m/h with 1leech. Its also skilling, cuz u get DG xp :D

If you rule out combat you can craft Astral's:

Or hunt Grenwalls:

Neither are great in the exp/h category though.

Herb runs of dwarf weed or lantadyme are decent money, but not something you can actively skill for.

Yeah I don't know that much about hardcore pvm these days. Someone should probably put together a better list.

Magic (best, but most expensive):

Rago dps/base/bomb

Glacors

Qbd

Nex (dps/tank)

GWD

Rot6

Range:

Rago dps/bomb

Qbd

Nex (dps/tank)

GWD

rot6

Melee

rago base

qbd

Nex (dps/tank. Best dos without seis at nex)

GWD

Melee is cheap, range is kinda bad, magic is godly, but pricey.
