September 15, 201510 yr What's the best Blisterwood weapon to use for the quest? I made myself a crossbow thinking it would be decent but its dps is horrible, tried the wand and orb which seems much better but what about dual-wielding sickles? I'd go with staff, I think. Proud Quester!

September 16, 201510 yr Oh wow finally a NEW Master Quest that I can almost do, lol. I need 79 Construction (currently 71) and 76 Hunter (currently 62). "He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure." ~Isaiah 33:15-16 My BlogScape!
September 16, 201510 yr oh, right, there was a construction requirement uh i guess making extremely stable barricades in a matter of seconds takes a lot of skill?
September 16, 201510 yr oh, right, there was a construction requirement uh i guess making extremely stable barricades in a matter of seconds takes a lot of skill?Lol, sounds about right. I'm excited to be able to do this quest...I just finished Branches of Darkmeyer last month and it's one of my favorite quests in one of my favorite quest series. :) "He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure." ~Isaiah 33:15-16 My BlogScape!
September 16, 201510 yr Honestly the whole boss fight was interesting, but they totally screwed you on healing. Maxed [February 14, 2012] | Completionist [October 25, 2012] | Trimmed Completionist [in Progress]Visit my Blog!
September 16, 201510 yr Honestly the whole boss fight was interesting, but they totally screwed you on healing. It really required careful management of damage intake and knowing when to heal. However, I often gotten really bad luck with continuously being stun. Lord Drakan was often pulling me back as soon as I was further than 2-3 squares away from him. Then when I used freedom, he instantly stun me again straight away. All I then could do was either heal up or decide to try again. That is the real pain of Lord Drakan. The rest of his mechanics where not much of a bother if you could keep moving properly. I noticed that Protect from Melee was a huge help in mitigating damage. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?~ Marianne Williamson For account help/issues, please follow this link: Account Help. September 16, 201510 yr Wasn't the easiest thing to do just stand in melee distance (except for the final fight) and use protect from melee? Worked fine for me. Threw in devotion too, you could include debilitate if you want. No need to kite until the last battle. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
September 16, 201510 yr Yeah, as far as I could tell, it was an auto pull then stun if you got too far away from him.
