X-Arcade-X
The update 5 days ago took away the fence between the body altar and barbarian village. :D So I did a little research on it. The times shown is the time it took walking from the bank to altar. Now lets see how much xp RC'ing a air/body rune gives. Air rune - 5xp Body rune - 7.5xp Calculate the ratio yourself. As you can see, body rune crafting is faster xp than air rune crafting. Even more if you're a member and use a glory ammy to teleport to edgevile. The only catch is that, well, body runes are useless. Unless you plan to cast failing curses. And you need 20 RC. Still, new breakthrough? 8) RsN: Arcade
Chaos_Reborn
yeah lol, probably for f2p who RC a lot. And curse is a quite useful spell, I use it a lot. Visit my Runescape comedy website, based on in-game screenshots.

harper128
For even more RC experience, try making body tiaras. People often leave the body talismans down at the giants in the Edgeville dungeon, as well as other places.

I've gotten 60+ from killing guards and each body tiara crafted gives just under 50 exp. Actually, I wouldn't really call it wasting a talisman ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢â∠

Chaos_Reborn
I can comment and say that the colour you chose for the descriptions were quite bad, you can hardly see... Lode
That's cool 8) You're right about body runes being useless. So I'm going to use this new body runecrafting route only for essenses that I mined myself. With essenses that I bought I'm going to keep making airs to let they pay back themselves :) BUT..... Couldn't it be a bug, and will jagex close the path again? Because we all know jagex LOVES fences! spooferfish
Hmm, I walked right through there and didn't even pay attention to teh fact that there used to be a fence there. Nice job :D
XiaoStrike
I still prefer RC'ing air runes.
jaklumen
Strictly speaking, for members, rc'ing fires (just one step down) with duelling rings is faster. I think it can be safely said that this could be considered a 'f2p hidden update'.
ForsakenMage
Hrm, I would say that this little "Update" would be worth it for those who do not buy their raw materials. They can earn a little profit at least if they mine the essence themselves and then just have someone run for them. :) As for what to do with all those body runes... Good question. Adventurer's Log || YouTube || Facebook || Tip.it Times Work || Wanna Join the Editorial Panel?Maxed Out 01 October 2012 PDT

Goobore
For free to play players, Body runes give the most Magic and RC exp from runes that you can craft yourself. So, for free players wanting to work up both skills cheaply, doing failed Curses with Body runes is the cheapest way to be fast.
aznmidget448
YAY! RC + MAGE XP ALL IN ONE!!!!! Rofl, bring my earth staff, some water runes, and rune esses... curse barbarians on my way back!
