Snowfight on a hot day in California.

Somewhere in California, there is a Highschool, and there were 2 guys

who hated the weather, because it was so hot outside.

So when school was over, they went into their pick-up truck and rode to the mountains.(im not sure if there are mountains near California...)

and they loaded their whole truck with a full load of snow, a whole heap of it. And they went back to school, and made a huge snowballfight, all around the school.

When the fight ended, there comes a teacher to the 2 guys, who takes the owners of the truck.

And they got expelled for 2 days, just because they were having a snowfight on a hot day!

Teachers Reason: someone could have got a snowball in the face, wich hurts.

my dad use to do that when he was a kid and lived in california. the mountains arent to far away :D .

normally snowballs dont hurt, but ive been in some snowball fights using "supersnowballs." they do things like dip them in water and let them sit for a bit, its like throwing a rock. mentioning rocks, sometimes they were added inside the snowballs. i almost got my neck broke by a supersnowball once, it was a head off of a snowman. somehow they got on my roof and got it up there, had a nice little arial attack. playing in the snow as a kid was so much fun...

Has anyone ever had a snowball fight when there's a layer of sleet over/under the snow? I did once, and I took a piece of sleet about 3" long and took the head clean off a snowman with it. All you have to do is fling them like you're skipping a rock. It's really fun. I hit one of my friends in the leg with one and left this horrible bruise.

I also got nailed in the side of the head by my uncle who was drafted onto 2 NFL teams as a quarterback.... You can imagine how that felt.

Yeah. I've had a snowball fight like that. The last time it snowed, as a matter of fact. :D My friend and I went out during fifth hour at school and had a snowball fight. He threw a snowball at me and it cut up my back pretty bad because it was mainly ice. :?

It would be so awesome to go up to the Sierras between classes, bring back some snow and let people have it from the parking lot. Only downside is that the mountains are like 4 hours away round trip. >.<

I guess the suspension was just. It was only a 2 day and I guess trucking down snow and throwing it at people could be dangerous. What if we kept it below the neck? :P

My school sort of is in the mountains, we got a lot of snow there today. Its fun for the first storm but after that everyone is sick of the snow unless it's at a ski resort. But that's a good idea :).

I assume this was during school. If someone had gotten injured due to the snow, it would have been the school's fault. The teacher made the right decision, though she did ruin some fun.

exactly. its why teenagers who are of relatively sound mind still need a permission slip to go on a field trip to watch a play of Julius Caesar...because no matter how outrageous the chance of injury is, its going to be the school's fault. so yes, i do appreciate what those kids were doing, but the teacher is right to some extent, even though they allow snowball fights at my school...but nobody is stupid enough to hurl ice or rocks at eachother

I bet you got a F on ur geography lol

There's plenty of mountains in CA. I live in Southern California, and the coldest it ever got here was around 40 degrees :? . I live next to some mountains that are like 9k feet high, but the snow is waaaay on the top so no one can get it. I've only seen snow ONCE, I was like 6 or something...
