well when i started there was no tut island so i just strolled around then i was like attacking a man!!! (lvl 10 back then) and died! then i found a bronze sqr around i was like happy as?! then i forgot my name (was like 32845923) then i made another account (called sword124) got hacked immidaitly some dude said change ur password to runeitems and you get free full rune! (you could change ur password ingame back then) then made dragon312 and still playing this game :)

Well like any newbie, I was on tutorial island headin toward the bank. And curiosity told me "Go up that ladder! Go up that ladder!" and like all newbies I listened to curiosity. And i stepped up and climbed the ladder. But from the angle the screen was positioned I could not click or see see the ladder.( I didn't know how to turn the screen, :shock: shocking isn't it? :oops: ) So no way down or out and so I was stuck up there for eternity! And later on I learned to turn the screen! :D

the first thing i did was mine in the west varrock mines, then i went around looking for a smelter, found the one near lumby and went back and fourth, i went to 13 smithing then stopped, after that it was mainly doing whatever i wanted, i started about 6 months after it came out and i was only playing with about 6k other people, anyways, it was about a few months in that my old main "jman66" was hacked and i couldnt get back, i was actually pretty wealthy for my lvl with full rune, couple masks and a santa. thats my story :)

I remember walking to port sarim to explore. Went up a ladder in on of the buildings and didnt know that you could rotate the camera because my angle had the wall blocking the ladder and i couldnt click on it. I was about to quit. Then i hit the arrow keys and it moved :shock: I was happy. Ended up walking to wildy, didnt know what it was, saw bunch of people killing each other.

when i started playng a high lvl gave me 10k because he was quitin and i bought full iron and went training after training all to 5 i buyed some steel with the rest of the mny of the 10k(i was still a pwety newb)when i thinked:there are much ppl in that place(it was wildy lvl 1) it would be good to sell my full iron there.

 

 

 

and there i go happy of my life and a guy had just died in fron of me

I can't remember much of my newbie days, my very first memory is completing tutorial island, then finding myself in Lumbridge. There were two people talking about the 'wildy' and one of them said 'I saw him but logged out so I didn't die lol' and the other said 'That's cheating lol'. I walked around a bit, and found myself just north of Draynor (no idea where I was at the time though) and I got attacked by a highwayman! Rememebring the conversation I had watched, I logged out thinking I would be spared. When I logged back in all my precious items were gone :cry: i quit for a month, then made a new account.

When i finally got out of tutorial island ( took me 2 days :P) I saw some guy with shiny blue armour (rune) and asked how i could get some. He told me to follow him, and he'd make me some. So i followed him, without know where to go next. We went into the wildy, we're he beat the crud out a lvl 70, who now i relize was after me, andd when we got to the very end, he killed me. I lived in draven mines for a very long time, mining my life away. Then on a fateful day, this nife person( now my friend who i've lost for over a year) told me about the general store. and now, i am where i am. Wearing full mage so nobody thinks I'm a noob who lost his armour :P

I just explored lumbridge killing stuff and picking up other stuff, then I found varrock and when i saw how many people there were i was like :ohnoes: and i found the general store and was buying stuff like crazy (i started making money by selling oak logs to the general store from the tree near by) my friend showed me 1k and i was so shocked that i thought he hacked this game lol, then later i found out how to train strength when i was about lvl 20 and trained on barbarians. later on my friend on messenger told me he played too and gave me 30k for free and i was so happy i couldn't sleep and told all my friends the next day at school :XD:

My two friends showed me runescape. I discovered you could talk to them on tutorial island (after meeting the friar guy), so they were in lumbrige waiting. I don't know the path we took, but we went by falador. I was all a little dazed by the whole experience, and didn't know waht to do when the highwayman was attacking me. My friend, who has long since quit, killed the highwayman, and we somehow went to varrock via lumbrige. he showed me how to mine, and I showed him that nasty mugger was beating me up for tin ore. He had to log out around 10:00, and I went around in the wood west of the delrith circle, and woodcut my way to level 30, selling the logs at the general store.

I remember the Cowhide buisness. How I knew that? My friend was with me and at the time he was level 70-ish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After killing cows and reaching a combat to 8, my friend decided to get me full steel. Then when he was at the bathroom, I decided to go 'venturing. I wounded up at lvl 1 wilderness. I turned a away, turned back and saw what was happening then I died! Then I was yelling in horror to my friend that this little booger bomb was killed me! (Earth Strike)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I had 2k left over and bought steel again. Yet again, I got scammed when my friend was gone.

Anways I raised my levels aware of the levels. And I saw my friend make a range pure, I saw that it owns, so I was like "me want, me want!" Yes I made the pure range. User-Pker Pars, he's now a melee pure because i got him like 20 prayer :oops: Anyways then on my bro's turn (which just started) was selling his leather gloves (he thought it was green gloves) I wasn't there to see if he's lying. Then he said this high level said free rune legs and he offered leather gloves for rune legs. My brother not knowing that rune legs were about 60k then. Then my friend went to check up on what we were doing. He was like "ZOMG, HOW'D YOU GET THAT?! DID YOU HACK MY ACCOUNT!?!?!?" Then I was like noooo... My brother can't buy rune legs with a good 60k at level 7. Ofcourse, hehe...I stole it when he was away. And I have it to Pker Pars then someone scammed me. He did that game of "Trust." He said free rune scimmy I was level 14 pure ranged at the time, not knowing of dangers. You know the rest... Then my brother, after he had 37 ranged at level 33. He went to white knights, fortunatley he saw a full addy noob die. He got ALL the things. Addy helm, kite diamond ring and some other stuff. Yet again i BEGGED him for it, I said i'll give you 3 b bones and about 500gp gold, he said no. But I did my scheme. That time I didn't lose it.

 

 

 

Then a few days later his friend pmed him to go on his site. He's like ok. It was a scamming site... Account lost and hacked by that noob. Its like a comment. So everyday I go there and spam his site :P

I remember I did Tutorial Island and almost quit in the first few seconds because I didn't know how to move my character. I kept pushing the arrow keys and was getting mad because it wouldn't move my character. When I got off, I fought a unicorn twice and nearly got killed. Then I went to the White Knight Castle in Falador and was killed by a Knight. I was so pissed because I lost my 50 gp OMG. So, I spent what little GP I had passing through the gates into Al-Kharid. During the Christmas '05 event, I remember running from the North Gate of falador to to hooded guy at the Taverly gates because I was afraid the guards could attack me in multi combat areas. By not reading the stuff on Tutorial Island, I thought multi areas were parts of the Wilderness and was afraid of players there. Then I remember trying to buy a bronze hatchet and sword back from the general store by picking up unwanted Gp from the ground. :wall:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I took a complicated route around Draynor Manor to Varrock and went into the city shouting "Alas, my quest is completed!" Then I did Romeo and Juliet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I started woodcutting and would sell willows to the general store for 4gp each lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I remember getting 60 WC at 20 something combat and was so excited to finally cut yews when all of a sudden...I met them... Yes, indeed. --The macroers. I would spend 1 hour cutting 100 and selling to the dude I worked for for 200 gp each. (They were 350 each then.) At the end I just said "Forget you." and walked off because he was offering 200k for 2k yews. I was like, you are paying me 200 each, not 100 each, and yes I do know they are 350 each now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A level 30 friend taught me a "decent" way to make money. I could mine rune essence (before the pure essence update) and sell in world 1 for 30 gp each real fast. I made my first 100k and was so happy. Then, I started to mine coal in level 9 wilderness to avoid macroers and finally got my first rune set after doing Dragon Slayer. Then I got 60 combat after that quest and decided to get a laugh by bringing my full rune into the wild with only 4 trout as a risk. I almost got killed by another level 60, he kept hitting 6s with his rune scimitar. Then I ran out of the Wild and he was like "Meh." I was such a noob then. Shortly after, I got members. Then I started mass-leveling and stuff. And raised my 400k end-of-F2P era fortune after buying a glory, my first sign of my membership. Then I was greatly pleased to see that there were no autoers, or almost, in RuneScape Members.
