I'm lvl 58 miner with no ammy of glory (i think thats the one that increases chances of getting a gem.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anyways I was recently mining in port khazard mines and mined 2 saphs out of the same iron ore before getting an ore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know the odds of getting one gem isn't that great so I was just wondering what the odds would be that i would pull 2 gems in a row. Anyone know the numbers?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I would guess that I've probably pulled 1 gem every (roughly) somewhere between 500-1000 ores, so i guess that would make the odds of pulling 2 in a row something like 1 in 250000-1000000? Interesting...

i'd also think that only once a week does that pair not include a saphire, if there are instances where it doesn't at all

Not that unusual... i had a small...err..."struggle" with a piece of coal once. Rock Golem, 1 sapphire, 2 emeralds before i got it. And I was on F2P.

I had a diamond and a ruby before I mined a rune ore a couple weeks ago.

its happened once before to me, but i got a saphire and emerald out of the same one while mining under the grand tree.

*shrug* I don't think it's TOO rare, because I know of lots of people who it has happened to. It happened to me twice. First time I got an emerald and ruby out of the same rock, and second time I got 2 diamons out of the same rock.

Not that rare, It happens to me all the time. If its emmy or higher then its kinda rare but spash it is quite common to happen with

mmm im a 74miner and two gems in a row has got to be really rare. yeh it happens. people get hit by lighting right? thats rare. justbc its rare dont mean it dont happen. lol still it is just uncommon..

I've had it happen 2 times for me. It's not extremely rare.

I've done it twice, too. Once was S,S, the other R,E.

I am doing some studies on drop rates and i would not want to bother myself with work that has already been done. Hopeful the information could help me.

I got 3 gems in a row once without getting an ore, never happened to me again.

I've had that before, a couple of times actually.
