By taking your password and items, they are making you aware of the keylogger on the computer, so you can get rid of it and protect yourself properly. Let's not blame our 'friends' who are victims. I might leave my bicycle unlocked and it might get stolen. It might not have gotten stolen if I had locked it, but that doesn't mean I am to blame for the theft of my bicycle. The bicycle thief still has the blame. Nobody is allowed to steal bicycles. Nobody is allowed to hack. Everybody is allowed to be naive. We can give them advice to prevent being hacked, but let us always stay courteous. Yes, pocket change :roll: With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. Let them play the game their way, and you play your way. :roll: Almost 99% of times you get hacked it's for your own fault. HOW ? Having no Firewall installed... Having no Up-to-Date Antivirus software installed... Running 3rd party clients.. Running Macroing programs... Logging on Rs from some1 else's PC... Clicking on wonders-promising links... Opening bad attachments on mails... Opening bad msn sent files... Trusting your "friends"... Sharing accounts and passwords... And so on... So don't blame Hackers...blame yourself, first. And most of times Hackers is a very big word...most they do is being viciously smart.Now those are some good points, but those are ways to basicially give someone else your password/get a keylogger, but even then it's easy not to be "hacked". My parents, being the excellent computer-users that they are, have downloaded about 4 or 5 keyloggers by accident (by opening up bad emails, basicially) and yet I have yet to be "hacked" AKA have someone else on my account. How? I do a virus scan everyday before I go on. It doesn't take long, and you can even play while it's running, as long as you don't log off until it's done, just change your password before you log off if a keylogger is found. My parents always manage to blame me for the keyloggers, even one time after I spent a week at camp and found a keylogger, my parents still said that I downloaded it. Used the same password I used to use in runescape in here. Unaware until I found my account had been accessed of a vulnerability in phpbb (the freebie software this forum runs on) that allows the password hash for any user to be obtained and cracked at their lesiure. So use a unique password in game, make it longer than 8 characters and a combination of letters and numbers. A "merchanter" is someone who buys and sells and item for either a lower, higher, or equal value of what it is worth. This creates a healthy market. Rares may be worth way too much money now, but at least there will always be an opportunity to buy them. If there were no people putting up virtual shops by yelling "sellign lobster 200gp" then that would be 1 less lobster traded, and one more lobster that did not get introduced into the market. I suggest going into buisiness or psychology if you want to know more about this. I make runescape comparisons in most of my essays; I think its a little mini sock market on its own. And would'nt we all love to see that crash? :lol: On the subject.... It takes patience to merchant. That being said, I can understand where you are coming from. I worked my smihing up rather high until one day in rs2, I realized that the higher level layers must have a better way of making money. Thus I reasearched and opened a big bone shop. Now I have 3 santa hats at approx. 8.1 each. Again, I can understand your point of having worked harrd for a skill. But if you can't beat em, join em.
