Amazing and soon available to everyone from 12th March on DVD :DI remember that show - down right amusing; without a doubt. Hasn't aired in Australia (free-tv at least) for years :(It was never aired on the BBC ever again, but a few months ago while i was researching the show I found the head animators blog who [posted earlier that day that he was in talks with getting it out on DVD. If i was searching only a few hours before i'd have found nothing about it on DVD and totally forgotten. It was like a sign lol, so ive got it preordered ^_^ Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. indy500fan
Tremors 1 - 4 Boxset Does the boxset come with that figurine? Also, are the last three as good as the first one, in the "this is kind of stupid and not very well made but for some reason freaking awesome" sort of way? I guess this is good of a place as any to ask, is there a Region 1 version of the I, Robot Sonny Head?
How2PK
Nope, only R2. As far as I know. I got myself: Exodus Any way the wind blows The prisoner of shark island MoC The Holy Mountain MoC (And as an 'extra' the three hour documantary Die Macht der Bilder: Leni Riefenstahl!) Mercifull
Unfortunately it doesn't come with the figurine. I love Tremors tho, the 3rd one is a bit crap with the whole [wagon] blasters thing but the series was redeemed by the prequel ^_^ Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Mercifull
Meh War of the Worlds was pants, the 1950's version was much better even if it was miles away from the original story Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. indy500fan
I enjoyed both versions of War of the Worlds. I got more of a feeling of hopelessness from the new one for some reason, even though the old one did it pretty well. The old one I think portrayed the "everyman for himself" a little better, just because of the truck scene. The book I thought was a little boring. Nope, only R2. As far as I know. Know of any websites besides for play.com that might have it? It's a little steep there, and that's even without the international shipping cost. It's a little steep there, and that's even without the international shipping cost. Did you think that's expensive? A new one for $130! That's what I paid as well, although I got the Japanese version. Anyway, play's cheapest. But they don't deliver to USA/Canada (where did you live again?) And on Yesasiait really is expensive ($360).. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! Is there a difference between the Japanese and the UK version? The price just seems a little high to me because I paid $100 for my Planet of the Apes head. That came with 6 movies, and two seasons of TV shows. The I, Robot head just comes with the movie. I live in the US, so I guess I couldn't get it from there anyways. And yea, Japanese is region 2 as well. :) I think the difference in price is because the I, Robot head's quality is a little higher than the PotA one, but I'm not sure about that. How2PK
Hell f*ckin' yeah! What an amazing album! Everybody listen to it. Damn. Some info for those interested: Garage rock nick cave style. this is what they think of their single No p*ssy blues: "As our dreams and desires are hung on the butcher's hook of rampant consumerism, and the mirage and the illusion and the Nike trainers are served up on the trembling quim of an impossibly nubile girl-thing, No [kitty] Blues tells it like it is," suggests Cave. "It is the child standing goggle-eyed at the cake shop window, as the shop-owner, in his plastic sleeves, barricades the door and turns the sign to "CLOSED". It is the howl in the dark of the Everyman." "Set over a throbbing pornographic bass line, the world holds its breath for the onslaught of the wah's shriek of frustration and dirty water," counters Casey. "No [kitty] Blues continues in the blues tradition and its timeless fascination with getting laid... or not." "It's 'Back Door Man', it's 'Crawling King Snake', it's 'Tiger Man'," says Ellis. "It's 'Shake Rattle and Roll'," says Sclavunos. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! Watch the 5 hour verion ASAP! :D The 5 hour one is the TV version, right? I'll have to watch it later in the week, 5 hours is something I have to plan around :P . The DeepDiscount.com Criterion Collection Sale is actually a pretty good sale, so I had to buy something. I have absolutely no money right now though, which is why I could only buy Fanny & Alexander. $35 isn't too bad for a 5 disc 3 movie Criterion box set :D .
