Dharok's Experience:A comprehensive study of common subjects

Here is my study. I have the stats in the following picture:

 

 

Scrougre (I assume 99 flats or close to it) provided some data.

 

I have the following:

 

Skeleton (45)

Monster: Lvl 45 Skeleton

 

Location: Yanille Dungeon

Hp: 59

 

Max hit: 5

 

Pro's: Salve ammy, no prayer or food required.

 

Con's: Few hp, a lot of luck involved.

 

Experience: I varied, at times getting 60k xp an hour, other times 120k, other times 90k. A lot of luck is involved, but if you are powertraining, this is the spot for you. You can stay here for 15 hours without ever once banking, unless after like 3 hours u need more attack pots. Definitely the best if you are camping out at any place.

 

 

 

Monster: Lvl 80 Skeleton

 

Location: Shadow Dungeon

*Disclaimer* I was praying for str and praying for protection just because I wanted to 1 hit. You could get very very good xp that way but it costs 120K gp/hour to do that so I wouldn't. Xp/hour was calculated without the prayer.

 

Hp: 70

 

Max hit: 8

 

Pro's: Salve ammy, good hp. Almost afkable. Very peaceful training, close to a bank. They provide good herbs and runes.

 

Con's: They hit fairly often. Need a fair amount of food.

 

Experience: 60K-65K with normal food. 70K+ with pray pots.

 

 

 

Monster: Lvl 142 Skeleton

 

Location: Ape Atoll

 

Picture:

 

 

Hp: 100

 

Max hit: I don't know, its multi so i used prayer. Ceiling hits max of 1 at this location, and there is poison. You could be safe at 4 hp with lots of pots and super antis.

 

Pro's: Salve ammy, AFK, very fast.

 

Con's: Need prayer pots, kind of inconvenient to get to.

 

Experience: 95K+ xp an hour using zammy pots and less than 10 hp, drinking pots at 95 attack and strength. 100K if drinking pots at 101. Problem: it is too far from a bank to be useful. If you wish you could get this experience without all that inconvenient, cry no more. Soon the guide for the lvl 120 Shade will be added. It is like the lvl 142 skeleton except with less defense, less attack, less inconvenience, and a max hit of 10 or 11 with 110[/i] Hitpoints. Should be even higher experience and much more convenient. Bank is fairly close.

 

 

 

Monster: Lvl 80 Shade

 

Location: Shade Dungeon

Hp: 72

 

Max hit: 7 or 8.

 

Pro's: Salve ammy, little food required (use general store to unnote items)

 

Con's: Hit fairly often, have rather high def.

 

Experience: 80K xp an hour. ~75K if you include banking. Get a crowded world, you need them to spawn fast. Afk'able if you choose to use prayer pots, although not much.

 

 

 

Monster: Lvl 98 Zombie

 

Location: Ape Atoll

Hp: 80 or something, forgot. This experience is bad. Do not attempt.

 

Pro's: Salve ammy

 

Con's: Multi, hit fairly often, falling ceiling+poison.

 

Experience: about 40K xp an hour, very low. They spawn slowly and have fairly high defense.

 

Monster: Lvl 100 Shade

 

Location: Shade Dungeon

Hp: 90

 

Max hit: 9 according to Runehq, hoping for verification

 

Pro's: Salve ammy, 90 hp.

 

Con's: Hit rather often. Maybe prayer would help. Very afk'able with pray pots.

 

Experience: 75K xp an hour. Their defense is responsible for this.

 

 

 

Monster:Bloodveld

 

Location: Slayer tower, second floor

Hp: 120

 

Max hit: 5

 

Pro's: 120 hp, little def.

 

Con's: Hit very often because their attack is magic based. Prayer works well.

 

Experience: Luck dependant, but averages 64k xp an hour without strength prayer and 80K xp an hour with it.

Location:Ape atoll temple

Hp:120( they can charge their health)

 

Max hit:14 or 16, depending on defense level.

 

Pro's:

 

altar very closeby (melee pro. and ultimate str. and incredible reflexes unlimited)

 

Con's:

 

-small spider that can and almost will poison you , super anti poison recommended , they stop auto attacking after aprox.15-20mins

 

-you can get trapped between the monkey guards(you cant walk thru all of them)

 

-normal defence lev( this is my opinion keep in mind i got 99 atk, so it depends on your attack lev)

 

-since the new quest this place seems to be rediscoverd, in other words it can get crowded from time to time.

 

Experience:

 

uncertain, i've been told about 80k per hour.(depends on strenght lev

 

For me, I got ~40K xp an hour there, may have just been luck. Thanks Scougre :)

Location:slayer tower

Hp:150

 

Max hit: 8

 

Pro's:

 

-low max hit.

 

-they aren't aggressive.

 

-the drops.

 

Con's:

 

-atleast one random event every hour( evil chicken is one of them, but its not multie so if you switch to mage pro. fast no real risk)

 

-defence lev average to high( on lev 99 atk i sometimes hit a few 0's in a row)

 

-Prayer potions required for "maximum" exp per hour.

 

-bank trip every 2.5 hour

 

Experience: rather low, 45-60k not the best spot to train for exp, you get about the same amount exp at gargoyles and Nechryael.

Monster: Fire Giants

 

Location: Wildy (not crowded :))

Hp: 111

 

Max hit: 12

 

Pro's: They hit often enough to use normal food on (AKA lobs) Nice spot to x-log (You're training, it's ok.) Fairly good xp, make money if u use lobs and you break even with prayer pots.

 

Con's: Wildy, kinda high def.

 

Experience: 60K xp an hour for me.

Experience: Test this for at least 5 minutes. If you use only 1 minute you can get lots of very lucky hits resulting in erroneous data. Remember that runescape's hits are 100% random.

I think your xp per hour is a little on the high side.

I just tryed that out there. You are able to 1 hit a skeleton about once every 5 mins. Most of them you have to 2 or 3 hit them. I dont think you could even get 50k xp an hour there. You can get better xp dharoking at the apes on ape a toll island.

You can't really explain how you can get only 50k. For 5 minutes (freshly potted) I got over 9K xp. I kept going and the xp varied from 2k xp a minute to 1500 xp a minute, never less. There is no way you can get ony 50k. I timed it. :D Glad no one likes it, leaves it empty for me.

Tell me were in that prase does it say I only stayed there for 5 mins....I was there for about 30mins with 8 hp with prayer on and you still can only kill them in 2 to 3 hits. But good luck with your training there.

Yes it is. 33093474372000 cycles of Cesium 133 per hour. Wonder how few are in yours :?

That sounds good. Let's both try again and get other people to try again and share their results. I did keep on going, training for 15 minutes, and for that time I averaged 100K xp an hour. I guessed it varies a lot so I put on 10% uncertainty on my measurements.

Cesium, is how it is spelled according the the periodic table.

 

 

 

About notation, i certainly got the right answer. 60/12 is 5 so 9K*12=108k. Simple typoes do not constitute evidence for doubting my mathematical prowess. :lol:

 

 

 

9/5*12 is 9/5 times 12. There are no parentheses.

 

 

 

9/5*60 is what i meant, but 9*12 is the calculation I did because I just filtered the factor of 5 out of 60 automatically. Pardon me for the incorrect typing.
