I'm picky about what black metal I listen to anyways. I call them radio black metal. Some people would call it mallcore. Necromagus Posted March 24, 2006 Share Posted March 24, 2006 Yeah, a lot of people who are into black metal in general seem to think they have 'sold out' over the past few years... don't really care for them to be honest. The video for Progeniens of the Great Apocalypse would occasionally be aired back when one of the music stations still had a night dedicated specifically to metal, but it didn't impress me much. I think their vocalist also did a guest appearance on the latest Kamelot album. Either that French thing must have been some joke I didn't get or you really should go back to study the world map. Norway isn't a city in France. Personally I think they are pretty damn good to play their instruments and their live shows (saw the at Tuska last summer) are good, but I hate them for other things: They are one reason why black metal has become what it is now... It sounds like their French or some kind of different language then Amerikan ( :lol: ). Their music also sucks to my liking of Black Metal. And btw, Terror = NOT BLACK, DEATH, ECT. So I don't know much of them, other than the fact that they aren't really appreciated much in their 'scene'.
