omg ok imagine this ure walking along when u try to fight somat and u die and lose 500k of stuff (like i did at barrows once)

a. whine cry and quit runescape

 

b. whine cry add anyone who was in the tomb with me and ask for my stuff back

 

c. think to myself oh well i died this is my own fault, people die in the game for a reason i lost 500k ill work it back.

 

or d. as all u lot have been saying run to barrows and beg people to give me my stuff/ expect sum1 to pm and say i got ure stuff do u want it

 

 

 

i would chose C the whole point people die is so the game isnt easy!!! if you knew people were gonna give you all ure stuff back if u died then there would be no point playing!!

Theres to many greedy people these days.....

 

Also if someone died and i get their name, i return all their stuff. If not i hang around where i got it for a few minutes to see if they are coming to get it back :)

I was at Dagg kings a few months back and a high lvl died and i picked up his whip and a few other things like his kite. I teled back to seers and ask all high lvls if they died and lost a whip. I'm pretty sure i found him but he said i should keep it becuase he can get more from slayer. Was nice but ya, i now see how crappy runescape is by how many people are greedy....

Dying and losing your stuff is part of the game. I don't expect anyone to collect my stuff for me when I die, and if I happen to be in the right place at the right time then that's jsut my good fortune.

Once I was on my pure and there was this lvl 14 fighting a guard. I was walking back to the bank when he died. There was a huge stack of coins in the pile, but some lvl 38 got them. He had been waiting right next to him. He said it was 2 mil. I asked him to share and all he said he would share was 200 gp. If I had gotten that 2 mil, i would have kept a little for myself and shared some with some of my friends. But all it is is just being in the right place at the right time.

If someone dies because of lag, 70% gets back to them. If they die because they chose to show off or be stupid, none does.

i have such bad luck that i have gotten more dragon armours from people dieing than drops in a 1 to 3 ratio.. yes i know sad

agreed.....u would be angry if you lagged and lost all that stuff...but you are angry because you lagged and didnt get his stuff....pitiful

Look, jagex made it so you lose your stuff for a reason. They didn;t mean for people to just get it all back. (*cough* got 6.5mil gp from a dead guy *cough*)

somthing similar happened to me, 2 people where fighting, a mage and a pure melee the pure runs so i some some 20 specs on the mage to ko him...didnt get kill then ran to pure and used last 2 specs to ko him too lol

 

piles showed up all i got from mage was his runes and some noobs looted the mystic and they laughed at me :(

omg some of u are right liers, i got 4 million cash because sum1 died on world 2 and u guys are telling me that if that happened then you would add them and give them it back!!!???? of course not!!!! its there fault they die why do u think random events are in the game in case of autors!! they die and lose their stuff. im not saying every1 autos but at the end of the day the guy died its his fault!

 

fair enough if it a low lvl person who drops like steel or something and the seem sad because it was all they had of course i would give back but over a mil of stuff i bet u wouldnt even think of giving it back!!!!

Karma will come into play. If you are a nice guy, your friends list will grow with cool, generous people. If you're a jerk, your friends list won't be so good.

If u see a pile right click and quickly grab the thing you want most. In rs2 you cant pick up things as fast as you could on classic. If you click fast u get nothing but if u click a little slower it gives it time to process. There a timing to it and I think its about a half a second per click.

 

 

 

As far as giving stuff back, I do for friends or ppl who Im working with like the kalphite and such but everyone else is out of luck.

I have seen peeps die plenty times at barrows... Gave over 1.1m back to one guy and over 20k waters, 3k bloods and ahrim bottom and hood to another.

 

 

 

I earn my own money so I dont need to leach off of someone elses mistakes. It can take alot of time to make money, so I understand why it is nice for a quick score, but simply think of the other side.

Same...but they have to actually die first. I'm not gonna sit around as their hp dwindles. However, if they actually die as I pass them or whatever then i'll take their stuff. I'd expect people to do the same for me.
