April 2, 200620 yr I liked the first RE is better, but 2 is a quite low rating I think it was better then that. They did screw up on the whole Nemesis thing. I will watch almost any video game based movie as long as its not directed Uwe Boll. Every movie I have seen that has something to do with him sucks. House of the Dead that was moronic I mean WTF?! Alone in the dark, that was pathetic. Play alone in the dark the new nightmare, then watch that you will want to cry, unless you already have. Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, no god no. And a far cry movie.......yeah, um. Now there was rumors about Uwe Boll making a Metal Gear Soild game but good ol' Hideo Kojima said that there would be no movie. Anyways to get off his rump. There is also the mortal combat series which they are coming out with yet another movie. Mortal Kombat: Devastation which should be out this year. They are going to have johnny cage back in it (but he died in 2 ok). I will see it to see how it really will do. Now..... for you halo fans out there (my self not being one) Peter Jackson yes the man who did Lord of the Rings, king kong now brings to you Halo. He will be a executive producer on this. So i doubt it will suck. That wont be out till next year ( I know when it comes out the cinamas are going to be packed). Silent Hill looks really good I know I will go see it. Well now that I have been up for almost 20 hours my brain is saying sleep. But if I think of anymore I will post. Oh BTW I got all of this off of imdb.com or Internet Movie Database. So people wont start saying 'lier!!!!!111!!11eleven!!111eleventy11111!1'
April 2, 200620 yr I don't know what's worse, movies based on games or games based on movies. The Resident Evil movies are the best example of the former. The series have one of the best storylines ever, yet it seems to be impossible to make anything decent out of it... April 2, 200620 yr If they get a competant director for the Max Payne movie, it will be one of the best movies ever. Of course, that never happens. They need good actors too. Lol, and I don't really understand the Hitman movie that's coming out, with Vin Diesal (right?). I can't really see them making an amazing screenplay out of it. You never know, though. I'll still see it.

I just don't see any "best movies ever made" getting made in Hollywood these years. The last two were The Matrix and Requiem for a Dream After that I didn't see anything from Hollywood that could be considered "one of the best movies ever" so yea, I'm a bit pessimistic. It's just naive to say that if they get a compentent director a Max Payne movie would be one of the best movies ever made.
