August 1, 201114 yr Best acoustic guitar album that I've ever heard.I'll say, he's definitely up there, if not past, modern day musicians like Don Ross and Andy McKee. Don Ross and Andy McKee are great - both by themselves as well as together. I had the chance to attend their label showcase, without Don and Andy sadly, but it featured Craig D'Andrea, who I think is going to develop into a great player himself. Actually, I was listening to Don Ross - Live in Your Head yesterday, which I think is phenomenal. I much prefer him completely solo, as in no drums or effects. August 1, 201114 yr I much prefer him completely solo, as in no drums or effects.Those three (Don, Andy, Michael; haven't looked into Craig yet) manage very well without effects or drums. Heck, they make all the necessary drum sounds by slapping their guitar. :P And I just love watching them play, because they get so into it. They play with such passion.
