what exactly are you trying to do? train past 99 str?

Look at his sig... now I will give you ten guesses to figure it out... Not to mention that a greataxe has more than one attack style. The comment of 99 str was to obviously help find out the xp rate at that lvl which would be somewhat higher than at the 70 str required to use dharoks.

Anywho, I have been told that you can get faster attack (and def) xp from whipping but of course str training with dharoks owns. Try an hour of each there and you will have all the info you need. Two hours from the time that you will need for 99 for 100% accuracy on the info is well worth the effort. Feel free to share the info though, of course :P

Those apes are kinda hard to hit.

Its nice cause the altar is there, but I don't think its for ultra fast training.

I trained alot there when I was getting to 90 str.

I only got like 60k per hr. (I was potting)

Same as when I pulled out a whip and trained attack there.

Maybe with your stats 80k per hr.

120k seems unrealistic.

The lvl 80 shades are very nice if you don't mind burning prayer pots and got a salve amulet.

I've got around 80k per hr there once.

Also, when getting your HP down low to hit high, I THINK their max hit is 14, so says my friend.

Do you even know why people use this spot? You don't get hit. It is called Prayer.

You have to lower your hp to hit high...

And they've hit much higher then 14 on me.

Dharoks is far superior, most people just find it boring and don't do it. It's also quite risky with the chicken event in a multi area, which is why I recommend bringing a strength or glory ammy (if you don't mind the chance of losing it) and keeping protect item on.

You can lower your hp with Zamorak Brews (which also lead to faster training as they give you more of an attack boost than super attacks and a decent strength boost), explosive potions or even let the spiders there poison you and have that lower hitpoints once you get to around 25 ;)
