You cannot expect a fictional character to come and whoop the scammer in afterlife. why not get spiderman to throw a web on him and bring him to you? Then you could ask the phat back and quit whining. If religious comments are allowed then also anti-religious should be. (this is for the mods and admins) Not all of us believe in the christian/catholic/jewish god you know. Just because you do not believe does not mean they don't exist although I agree that believing a great deity will take care of you're grudge for you is bull. R.I.P. The olde nite. So, if you have fun, how is it a waste of time? And, quitting just because you got scammed does not show that you are smart, it shows you are just a big crybaby. Lick your wounds and get back out there otherwise, don't just come to the forums and post trying to get everyone else to quit just because you weren't smart enough to check the second trade screen. I've been scammed plenty of times (although not from a party hat). EVERYONE gets scammed, be that from full rune or a blue partyhat. I just right a little while ago got scammed of a purple phat by a new scam (won't say what it was). Please, pm and thank him since he's probably blocked me or logged off that I am thankful he made me realize that there's more to runescape out there. Do I care that he scammed me of like 81m? Yeah?!!?? It takes a hell of a lot of time to get. God will prevail and will take justice upon him no matter how corny that sounds about a game but it takes about a year to get that for most people. To the rest of you, I ask that you quit runescape now because it is a huge waste of time. Something like this might happen to you or simply you will get banned and just think about all of that lost time you could have spent outside or playing with your 'real' friends. I just want you to enjoy childhood before it's gone and you have to work fulltime. P.S.- Yes, I have a few mil left. Although I am quitting don't ask for it, I don't know what I'm gonna do with it yet. Plus incase you are wondering, yes I almost cried when I lost it. :x Sounds like complete bull... I'm estimating those figures mainly because Runescape has become a game in which players play to build up skills and make their character the best (no matter how boring, seeing as how nearly everything except DK's, KQ, and Barrows [and maybe Metal Dragons, eh] is mindless clicking. Thats why those are the only things I really do 8) ). And no one give me any bull about how exciting you think the game is, 'cause you're just kidding yourself. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. You're not the only person in he world that has ever been scammed or lost party hats or even millions of gp. 2) Report that scammer to Jagex. It may not be as powerful as God but I don't think scamming at Runescape has ever been a valid reason for ending up in Hell. 3) Take a break. I know, you've worked so hard for your Runescape fortune but seriously, take a break. Give it some time, you'll feel better in a couple of weeks. Time heals. 4) After your break, if you decide to come back, please do warn us of this "new" scam. Even if you fell for a noobish scam, remember, errare humanum est. 5) If you really return, choose your friends carefully. Runescape is like real world: you wouldn't trust just anyone in real world, would you? The same applies to Runescape. 'nuff said. Edit: I hate the world filter here...
