Featured Replies

rofl, im guessing none of you played runescape classic.

pooned came from rsc, it was from the newbish lvl 20-30s who kept coming up with new ways of saying stuff. this included no0blet, nub, pooned or p0oned, ownt etc

Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.

I don't say powned.

If I win, I'll simply say "I win" or "Ownedownedownedownedowned!!!"

If I die, I'll simply say "I win" or "Ownedownedownedownedowned!!!"

That's if I'm in a good mood, otherwise I'll say nothing.

(Not actually say "nothing"...)

I hate when people say 'owned' excessively. I was watching a stake on Classic, and the fight came down to both guys having like 1 HP, and one of them won. The winner instantly said 'Owned!' like he totally wiped the floor with the other guy. It peeves me.

Heh, I use owned all the time when fighting chickens or something. Or I say some stupid, random word.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

Wrong forum.

Also, it's the abbreviated pwn'ed, which is the abbreviated pooned. :?

they say pooned because pwn'ed is censored because it's saying pw which jagex think means password but everyone uses pass anyones so there nto much point. If anyone else here was a big gammer they knew pwn'ed is used a lot we get owned because it sounds some what like pwn'ed

it actually has widely been attributed to a spelling error in CS:S when the guy meant to say owned and said pwned. Therefore the P is inplace of the O.

i'm guessing you've never played another online game besides RS and RSC.

The story about warcraft is right... poned = pwned = owned misspelt

everyone who has posted on this thread is now going to say cornmealed instead of owned, pooned, p00ned ect.

I love making new words like that, i even have a story :D

While i was training my slayer to 45 with my friend we both got 148 trolls! exact same number, exact same task. So we stocked up, fished up, and well....you get the idea. With that and our bags filled we set off to the ugly grey and dull mountains filled with dim-witted brutes. Up the mountain we went and climbed and climbed we did. We got to the top and both set up our great pals "mister and misses cannon". The balls were flying and our whips were slashing. Then a general that had been hit well right in the stomach marched over to me! "oh ****" i cried as it knocked a 34 cloud over my head... I ducked and swayed as the large pole of a weapon swang at me. I took a slash then prayed to the great god of melee protection.. After 3 seconds of strong slaughter i went over to his corpse to find a nice large sheild. So i told my friend and he told me how he finished his mission which miss cannon also finished mine.

It was then one of those 4 day breaks from slayer until we decided to grab another mission "poop hap, you are assigned 100 trolls" 'n' "aussy321, you are assigned 84 trolls"... now this was a thrill experience wise and fun wise.

We got ready, bought cannonballs (didn't bother fish) and got other things done.

We set off again to the room where the fatties sleep . We put down our cannons inhope of 1000000 sheilds. But to our suprise the general fit through his small doorway that must of been half his size.. BAM! a 30 and a 32 and a 16 appeared on my friend before he could finish eating a large shark. Yet, before he died he was about to say troll so he typed "tr" but was stoped by the troll which he then typed "noob!" because he got k0'd so badly

After this i started to use the word "TROOB" meaning

ugly-troll-realated-noob

and this is my word and story

Proud Member of G.U.I.L.D.S., a new kind of Community!

p00ned or pooned+perfect owned this is when u kill some1 without losing a hitpoint. people have now come away from this meaning and use it as an alternative for owned the same way people use pl0x instead of plz or please even though pl0x sounds nothing like please and makes no sense

sigggyjv2.gif

Sig by me....

They say poned because teh chat filter blocks pwned, which is a basically the same as owned. Pooned or p00ned is another variations.

Lagatag.png

I can't stand it when people make up stupid words such as: nooblet, pl0z, pwned, or any variation, especially variations of noob. I also hate when people even use noob or owned. Lame and immature in my opinion.

This thread is funneh! Cornmealed!

mssigqc5.jpgI do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! Just keep it under 5 sentences, and PM me to use my fluency in Japanese to your advantage!

Oh man thats great i gotta start using Cornmealed!

it all started at some sort of high level monster and a guy who had the word ned in his name was training there, so ned walked off to get a drink(in real life)and one of the high level monsters killed him and he dropped his yellow party hat, well some other guy who was training there said: poor ned and another person who was training there thought that the guy meant something like: hahaha he died and lost his yellow phat so he abbreviated poor to paw and took away the space: pawned and from there it changed to pwned, but that got censored so they changed it to p00ned and then it got misspelt and turned to poned
