Farm & ...

Featured Replies

First THE classic triangle

Farm a round, fish between 2 rounds, farm a round thief seeds between 2 rounds, rince and repeat.

Second is farm & train agility in non wild (wearing ammy of nature)

I bassicaly do all things where i do not need to wear another ammy or necklace and where it is fairly easy to stop and fairly close to a bank.

What is your favorite in between farm round action?

2100+ total 3rd best skiller ever at 99 combat (maybe the best, highest total below 100 cb)

99 Cook 99 Fletch 99 Woodcut 99 Firemaking 99 Range 99 Mage 99 Thief 99 Fish 99 Agility 99 Mining 99 Runecrafting 99 Hp 99 Slayer 99 Smith 99 Hunt 99 Construction 99 Craft 99 Farming

Im making Mills a day Runecrafting and Farming Kwuarms :)

Good ole' farming

- My skills are now really, really lame ! Time to fix that! -

My triangle is slayer-farming-herblore.

1. A trip to slayer tower - kill aberrant spectures till you get 4 herb seeds above toadflex (irit or higer). mush better and faster the master farmer, or any other seed dropper i know.

2. make a quick patches go-round trip (demands ecto-tele, 2 laws and 1 water, and maybe a glory for the belladona patch) to plant/harvest.

3. get the second indigernts for the herbs (newties, red eggs, fungie, etc) for using with the soon-to-be herbs.

4. repeat...

L.Bellatrix.png

Slayer: 85/85, Herblore: 82/82, Farming 81/82, def 99/99.

new goals: full sardomain costum from t.trails (2/6), slayer 87/90, attack 98/99

Dragon drops: 4 half shields, 2 dragon spears | whip drops: 5.

barrow drops: Ahrim's hood

My triangle is actually quadrangle

Slayer -->Tele Draynor --> thieve some seeds --> Draynor patch --> Catherbi patch --> tele Ardy --> thieve some seeds --> Ardy patch -->ecto tele --> Canafis patch --> and....back to slayer tower

For Me, I like training afk at skeletons lvl 80 in between tasks. :)

Urza. The One. The Legend.

Farming Catherby, ecto to the other patch, tele to Camelot, cooking monkfish.

Repeat... 8)

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

I don't farm... IMO it is a useless skill.

Me neither, the only time I ever get XP for farming is when i do the Tears of Guthix minigame

Runescape Status = RETIRED AS OF 15/08/2006

Combat 105, 1488 Total (I Beat the addiction :D)

Yea but what do i have to show for my time? Nothing but pixels
This is why Runescape is a WASTE OF TIME - smart man

when i used to train slayer a had a round, which consisted of:

-doing a slayer task

-get new task (change if necessary)

-pick herbs and plant new ones

-do new task

-get another task and do it

-pick herbs and plant new ones

and so on...

Now, after getting 85 slayer I've kicked farming out of my circle and now i'm just camping at abbys.

Doing slayer was a good source of seeds also. Especially nechryael and aberrant tasks.

I normaly only plant Tree/Fruit seeds, so I can basicly do anything I want to do

I guess you don't like making money.

dude, you can get rich off herbs & stuff. If it wasen't for high level farmers, we wouldn't have any weapon posions above the normal kind.

i can make more money per hour with farming then most can with runecrafting so i guess it isnt that useless

i go kill some infernal mages, get some deaths from them, craft a ton of minds, and kill some dag kings

ownage right there!

Its quite simple. Even though the herbs take over an hour to grow, there are four herb patches. If you are farming ranarr seeds you get about six herbs per patch, that 24 herbs. Which you can sell for about 6k each herb or make a prayer potion, so total profit of 144k in about 75 minutes. If i am wrong with my math or someone can craft nature runes faster please tell me.

Even though i love farming, i have to disagree with the statement about making more per hour farming than runecrafting. I can usually craft at least 1500 nature runes an hour. Thats 450k. Way more than the 144k in 75 minutes. But don't get me wrong Farming is the best skill on the game. It takes almost no gameplay. I plant 4 herbs and 8 watermelon patches. Quit playing. Come back in 2 hours and voila. Pick my herbs, replant, pick my watermelons and put them in the compost bins, then replant those and im off for another 2 hours lol.

You only need to runecraft 480 natures for get that. People doing abyss runs with pouches can craft much more than 480 nats an hour.

You really have noclue what your talking about. I hated it at first, once you get to a decent level, able to make Irits and above you will be rollling inthe money and the exp from all the hrbs you can make.

I know you love to be negative all the time, but your commentis telling that you haven'treally tried out the skill sufficiently.

Farming Ranarrs + Barrows ftw :P

single_skill1165709744.png

EDIT

In 10 minutes of work: harvesting replanting herbs i average on about 30 snapdragons, which i could sell for 7500 each, which is 1.35 mil per hour roughly.

i guess that I'm a bit odd in this respect then - I do 4 patches, with herbs, flowers and vegetables, then go do hops, check patches, and replant if necessary, do bushes, back to patches, and finally trees and specials. This normally takes long enough to get 2 lots of herbs (*4 patches) + another lot to go in before I stop farming.
