May 6, 200620 yr Before you read this, this is not a Rant, hehe, just something I want to discuss. Anywho... Who remembers those times when you could go to the Fishing Guild all day and enjoy your fishing in peace? I know I do. But, like everything good thing, this has slowly come to an end. A lot of the behaviour and conversations you see in Catherby while fishing has now moved into the Fishing Guild also! Joy! The typical conversations I have been seeing lately there (World 26, Fishing Guild, only place I ever am :P ) are starting to involve the usual garbled crap you would expect in Catherby... for example : #1 Those pures who are always bickering about who can "own" who. Pure1 - my main can own you noob rofl Pure2 - lmao luk @ ur total lvl nub! i own u ne day!! Pure1 - nice def lvl ch00b Pure2 - says ur mom n00b!! Pure1 - **** nub ******* noob i own u Yes, I have seen those more than once. #2 Those people who hit a key and then press enter to keep logged in, which is especially annoying because they can just click on their Stats, then Inventory which has the same effect and causes alot less hassle. #3 Those idiots who type a whole load of rubbish and type it all the time. SomeGuy - Look out a flying banana!! SomeGuy - scroll: ( SomeGuy2 - (.Y.) The Crowd - LOL! ROFL! LMAO! etc.. Has anyone else who is regular to the Fishing Guild noticed this? And if so, share the experience!! :P Please don't take me as stereotyping everyone in Catherby as this, but I have had alot of bad experiences in that place.

May 6, 200620 yr I've always had good times at the fishing guild talking... but I guess I also noticed it's been getting a little bit worse. I haven't been there really recently, so maybe it's like you said now? Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. May 6, 200620 yr As time goes by there will be more and more people who can get into the guild so anyone who was unable 2 months ago would be able to now ;0 Plus there is now something new that enables people to get into the guild a bit earlier than just having a pot. People are immature a lot of the time but I have always found that if you can find other people who you know who u can train your stats with then things are more and go faster ;0 I ground bones with someone to 70 recently and the time flew as we were chatting and having a laugh - My skills are now really, really lame ! Time to fix that! -
May 6, 200620 yr in response to ur resentment of the typers, They don't neccesarily do that to stay logged in. Until recently I used to do that. For me I did it to see how many lobbys I had fished. And before you say "Look in your invintory", it's a lot easier to see how many it says u've fished since u last looked by looking at the text box. I typed so that when the box filled up I could count how many i had fished. Recently i found that examining gives the same effect... Just my two cents. "How you act when no one is looking is the clearest indicator of the strength or depravity of your true character. " yeah, he's deffinetly a little excited...dont worry its not a glitch...d legs are meant to stretch in that area for that reason.

I'm the one jumping into the truly random conversations, who tries to derail all those "farming lvl pl0x" peeps. Works too :). Raichase, quit Runescape. Time issues really, nothing against the game itself. Something had to go, and it happened to be the addictive game that costs money to enjoy :) Best of luck to all of my friends here!

Problem is: if a lot of noobs start moving into the fishing guild, they'll immediatly say something about auto-ing. You could just actually ignore most of the random chat yourself. Shouldn't be too hard ;)

May 6, 200620 yr Monkfishing FTW! Seriously. I met a bunch of fun people there and got to congratulate all of the people who finish the quest (Bari and me congratulated Zezima the first day lol). It's fast, fun, and a good atmosphere not to mention the fish are tasty. No fishing pures allowed and usually only the more serious players show up. I was there for two days and the lowest combat level I saw was 85; next lowest was 94. Abandon the guild for the better xp, cash, and ATMOSPHERE of the monks! May 7, 200620 yr Haha once i got into a big "discussion" about how i was a "reporting noob" and many other things, because i reported people swearing left right and centre, it was so pathetic.. the immaturity astounded me :roll: , anyways i just laughed at them in the end and reported them all for swearing even more at me. Anyways i usually now put my chat on hide or friends. Pier pressure? I can just see you being threatened by a wharf or jetty because you're a teleporter. Yes, I can see a large wooden wharf uprooting itself from the shore, walking over to you and slapping you in the back of the head for teleporting.:lol:

You know, it's people like you that are in complete astonishment when someone reports you. My pure (who has the word "law" right in his name!) sees a bunch of the f2p genius, and as such, I report a lot of people, mainly for offensive language. If you want to swear, go ahead, but I'll report you for it. It has no place in this game, and casual cursing is one of those things that just gets annoying. Am I one of those guys that hears the word "fhck" and runs off screaming and crying? No, God no. But I do take offense when somebody strings together multiple words that take no real originality, and no real thought, in an effort to insult me. It's the same with the word "noob." I remember when you could be reported for saying that word btw.
