In the movie, Bill tells Beatrix she's his favorite person, despite all that has happened, or even because of all that. That means you don't necesarially love your favorite person, it can be your worse enemy, an extravagant star, some footballer, a musician, your momma, your girlfriend/boyfriend, anybody. I'm still willing to do the same to anyone close to me. Closest now is my girlfriend. She's the only one close to me. And I don't have any best friend either.
