Ahh, both of those, how could I forget? Both unbelievable stories. The Green Mile makes me cry every time I watch it.

Just doesn't seem to work when you got two posts quoting the original message

I don't know what it is, but something keeps telling me you "own"?

"When you're happy it's like you're a bird; you can fly. The only trouble is, you need other birds to fly with"

I watched Trainspotting rolling a couple nights ago. Made me want to do heroin again but at the same time, it reminded me of the extremely fun withdrawals I went through last time I got back on oxycontin and methadone.

For all those who said 'Requiem', go watch Spun. It's the crystal meth version of Requiem. :D

...1 hour of sleep, still rolling..... today will be a fun day at work

Whats Spun even about? I havent even heard of it. Oh ya and what do you guys think of Donnie Darko being called a "horror" movie? I mean I didnt think it really was at all. I mean sure the bunny was a little freaky but other than that I wouldnt classify it as a "horror" movie would you guys?

I don't remember much from Spun, other than it had a big explosion, a naked chick chained to the bed for hours, that it had to do with drugs and that I didn't like it that much.

Wayne's World! Seriously, this movie is great. It really did change my life...pretty much got me into classic rock (*cough*Bohemian Rhapsody seen *cough*).
Schwing! Great flick!

But the one that moved me was Band of Brothers. That one gets to you.

Shawshank Redemption and The Butterfly Effect.

Shaun of the Dead. First movie to seriously scare me. First horror too. It was then that I realised I wasn't a violent type of person and that horrors weren't for me. I sat through it perfectly fine but for weeks afterwards I couldn't get the images from that movie from my head. Being away from home and sleeping in a room with a 12 foot window in it didn't help but even at home I don't watch horror movies for fear of doing that to myself again.

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Am̮̩̉̉lie Poulain

A film that can actually give you such a different look without being disturbing, dark or pessimistic.

Not sure a film ever changed my life, I think a lot of people think a film will change their life, I know I have but now I can't even remember which films I thought would do so:)

Requiem for a dream damn near induced clinical depression so i guess that might count.

Films like Paths of glory, The Killing Fields, Heart and minds and others of that type changed my viewpoint on war quite a bit.

To add to Daan's post... spun is awesome.

It's a film about crystal meth, the people who deal it, make it and use it and how it affects their lives. It's kinda like requiem for a dream but a bit funnier and less depressing.

Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.

Forrest Gump

Fight Club

Green Street

Green Street changed my views on several things but mostly that you should always stick by you friends not matter what the consicquences (sp?). Plus it made me want to become a football hooligan

no no j/k those were good but not life changing...anyway

I don't really think any movies I have seen ever have changed my concept of life, more so books (even though I don't read), philosophies, just having deep thoughts some times and re evaluating everything

that's how I really put stuff in perspective

also in case you didn't know, Highlander won the acedemy award...for best movie ever made...lol go see talladega
