n8myton
Throwing knives? That way rangers could raise ranged lvls without having to BUY everthing. (no F2P fletching :() taking a break

gamblingfool
I'm F2P and I'd like to see Rune hallys come into F2P. Yea, I was wondering if these were F2P. I would go with the hallys or a granite maul.
jessica1608
not dragon items IMO. the granite maul is the best option i think. however, i also think that none of them should be made F2P- isn't that the whole point.
n_odie
Wow!!! Thanks for the replys. I would say the dds is kinda much but g maul would be cool as well as hallys. Throwing knifes would be an awsome thing to intro for rangers. Once again thanks for the replys!!! :-({|= RIP MichaelangelopolousThanks to cowboy14 for the pimp sig! Indizle
How about an Obsidian weapon (maul perhaps?) Its more powerful than most rune, yet has no special, avoiding problems of the g maul, and still keeps dragon members only.
pker683
d long, not g maul cause JaGeX would have to nerf the spec. also f2p pkers would finally get their att up, unless they like their rune scimmy/2h combo over it. edit:throwing knifes would help range a ton, not that many mems even use them, how many p2p pures are there? im guessing less than 100k. he has a phat just cause he is a p mod, now shut up about ityou're right, it's like giving candy to a fat kid and punch him when he eats it

I also think that to get this item there should be an extreamly hard quest that requires a ton of the f2p skills(kinda sounds like dragon slayer). I think g maul and throwing knifes. Dilts36
for F2p i would go with the good old rune Scimmy And for members i would go for the whip for DH. \
dargonhuman
Being an f2per, I don't know which p2p weapon would be best, but, as an f2per, I wouldn't want it to happen. Why? The adage, "Give them an inch and they'll take a mile" comes to mind. With the high number of "F2p needs..." threads that abound just here on Tip.it alone, giving f2pers any p2p weapon, at all, will result in the exponential increase of f2p begging, not to mention the massive flood of "This sucks" threads from disgruntled f2pers. Just look at the threads created when Jagex released POHs! If f2pers are given even a seemingly insignificant p2p weapon, the beggars will be quick to demand what weapon they "deserve" to get next, which wouldn't be good for anyone. --Darg-- Part of the Star Traks network. But i think just knives and darts would be juft fine.

But i think just knives and darts would be juft fine. The problem with giving darts to F2P is that they are part of fletching, a members skill. Plus darts on P2P require a long quest through members areas, a difficult thing to repllicate for F2P. Throwing knives on the other hand, to my knowledge, are not part of fletching and never required a quest. Off Topic: I agree that it would be nice to add greed D-Hide crafting to F2P, there are already green dragons in F2P areas, but they aren't there on F2P servers. They could just add the dragons and add crafting support for their hides to F2P, which would also fulfill some people's complain for wanting a higher lvl monster. Edit: Green dragons would also give F2P some decent prayer xp (dragon bones) and give F2P a reason to level crafting past 57 (Ammulet of Power) to level 63 (Green DHide Body.) taking a break
xJakex
Giving them a dragon dagger wouldn't be the best idea. F2p Pking would be well, ruined. I can't see many problems with a lava staff, mind. Or something in that vein. I'm Jake Milroy
n_odie
Thanks for the replys. I would would have to agree. F2P should not get a new skill. I think that if knifes were allowed on a f2p server that it would allow the fletching market to go up as well in the p2p worlds because they are the only ones tha caan make them. I disagree on letting f2p players make green dragon hide. It would make a members crafting all the less value than it already is. Letting g dragons would let p2p get bones but thats one of the reasons i joined members was so that i could get my prayer and agillity up. I also agree on the point that if u let f2p get a little bit they will want more. The good players would be thank ful but the "not so good players" would wine. But this is also a thred about "what if" f2p could get a weapon from a p2p server. N_ODIE RIP MichaelangelopolousThanks to cowboy14 for the pimp sig! N_ODIE But Throwing knives are completely unrelated to Fletching, they are instead a part of smithing, an already F2P skill. The whole point, to me, of throwing knives would be to allow F2P to craft some of their own ranged equipment. (F2P Warriors can smith weapons and armour, F2P Mages can craft their own Runes (to a point), but F2P Rangers must buy everything.) taking a break
