shortage of interesting posts ?

Well as some of you might know I'm a pretty active tipiter and since I've been trying to catch a big shark since the day before yesterday I split my pc screen into half rs window and half tipit window =P

 

But then the problem came, no more interesting posts to be read anymore =(

 

So I switch to graveyard board, dl some vids to watch while I fish, I have a look at the goals board, which also gets boring rather easily and then back to general p2p, my favourite.

 

But all I see are posts like: merchanting??????, non existing barrows tweaks =( again.... , missing pixels in fire cape like omg if i posted every weird image I get from a certain camera angle that'd be 1k posts alone. Well no offense to these people maybe they also got bored without posts at the general p2p board and decided to try and do something about it themselves.

 

 

 

But really I need to do something while my char stand there on the left half of my screen splashing in the water with his net waiting for monkfish to magically pop up in my bag =P

 

 

 

So I would like to turn this into a thread were everyone posts a story that recently happened to them but were to lazy to make a thread at the time, but since we really need some enjoyable posts now let's all post them in here and get rid of this incredible boredom =P

 

 

 

Of course if I want this to be any success I would have to start off myself.

 

Well ok here we go then:

 

 

 

A few days ago I was having a little party at my house after I had gotten my dungeon installed, I had a random guy that liked my house standing outside the rimmington portal screaming about my house party =D so really hundreds of people came in, ok a little over one hundred then :P

 

 

 

So once inside we go have some fun in my dungeon, I got the idea to put my combat ring down there from the cursed you's 99 con party. There we are maybe 25 friends of mine and over 75 strangers making fun in my house. I had a small clan with a few friends shouting names and it really seemed like a clan pk trip :P There were certain persons that would be killed on entering the dungeon and others that just got their name randomly shout out every once in a while. So after we killed some persons several times they started setting up their own little alliances. And before we knew it we had a real clan war down there :twisted: hehe

 

 

 

So after an hour or so I lose connection got all those people booted :( but apparently nothing went wrong and we all joined back into the party.

 

This time it seemed like the combat ring had gained a bit in popularity because everyone was fighting in tere and the best thing was that you couldn't escape by leaving the ring because u'd end up in the dungeon and get killed anyway :mrgreen:

 

 

 

I even met a girl at my marble throne ( lvl 53 or so ) who is now my royal wife and queen to rule over my house when I'm away killing dangerous monsters like the bigevil JAD =P

 

 

 

So after a while my internet just gives up 5 times in 10 minutes and I really can't keep on going into my house hoping that no1 got hurt this time... one of those times I actually ended up outside my house at 12 hp super poisoned when I logged in, luckily I got inside my house on time and didn't lose any items.

 

After those 5 times I decided to stop the party and call it a day.

 

 

 

But then my friend "sir vos" a former pure then rune pure which had reently gotten 70 def asked me to show him around barrows :P

 

I bring him there I was only planning to going one trip. so I do my 2 chests and on the second chest I get a veracs brassard.

 

I tell my friend goodnight and leave him to it at the barrows :P

 

 

 

I had a great time that that day majorly thanks to all the people partying at my house.

 

 

 

From now on any major lvl accomplishment shall be celbrated at my house ;)

 

 

 

Well as I said before I'm currently working on a big shark for my house and then I will get 70 slay to put a kurask on my wall hehe :twisted:

 

 

 

To end this post I would like to encourage everyone to tell a little story, make a little diary, anything you like.

 

Make it long I love to read =P

 

Make it fun we all like a good laugh =D

 

And not to forget don't make it like those other posts telling useless info we already know or might not even be true ;) =)

hey silver. most interesting thing thats happened to me lately is you giving me a house tour. most impressive, i must say

 

 

 

i'm also cooking right now, at lvl 80, and i'm hoping to get to... 99! i didn't want to post the goal on the boards, but its a little project i've had on the go for some time now, but now i've got enough money to actually do something about it. gotta go to school, i'll talk more later :twisted:

I started to post this yesterday but i just couldn't find the time.

 

 

 

Me and my irl friend mattallica87 were kqing, when we both are runnning low on sharks on the 2nd form. Well matt gets this great idea to shout type tele when he is on the verge of death instead of teleing to save him self. Instictively when he said tele, i pushed the cammy etel button. I watch as he dies.

 

 

 

When i appear in camelot i pm asking if he was using protect item. surprise surprise he wasn't. So we're both rushing to get back down there to save his helm, but of cours ei bring a quick load of sharks also to finish off that queen. Also bring soem energy pots so i can run the entire way.

 

 

 

So i run the entire way back down there, and find out that his helm and stuff is already gone, matt had been following behind and came in a lil after me. I get started killing hte queen. i kill it and at first i was sure it was one of those crappy times when she doesn't drop anything. Luckily matt was there and was like omg, Chain!!. I thought he was joking but then i tele to cammy after him and he trades it to me immediately. Matt lost a 2.6 million gp helm but then gained 10 mill from the chain after we sold it, so it wasn't too bad for him. I just find it funny that we got a chain from the queen that killed him. maybe someone should make a experiment and see if when you lose your verac's helm you will get a d chain from that queen. Of course i am not volunteering for this, maybe we can get matt to do it. Just jking lol. :D

I would say you're a hipocrate for uselessy posting about useless posts, then I realised you had a story, so I won't say it.

 

I'm trying to think of a good story to tell here, umm, I like barrows, and I have a few of them, so here's one:

 

 

 

One day, a long time ago, no I won't write like that te whole time.

 

I was busy doing my beloved barrows trips when my friends PM's me asking me to go and own CW with our ice bursts and my new ahrims. I said to him, OK, give me half an hour to use up my supplies. I hadn't had an item for about 18 trips with a kc of 30 in each, so I was expecting one soon, I thought I probably had enough stuff for 2 and a bit more trips.

 

So I get started on my first trip, everything goes fine until I get to Guthan and he heals 20+ twice in a row, so I got annoyed and said to my friend that I would come after this trip. Other than that it was actually a good trip, only used one shark getting my kc up. Then I managed to get my puzzle wrong, the most annoying thing that can happen at barrows!!! But I eventually get to the chest after taking about 15 extra damage, I open the chest and my eyes pop out :shock: that's not normal, 160 bolt racks, never heard of anyone getting more than 133, oh well, then it hits me again :shock: My first double item :!: :!: I decided to teleport right there, I had verac's helm and flail in my inventory. I told my friend and he said, "**** ahrims get the rest of veracs!!" Lucky me got to keep my ahrims and still buy the veracs. We played about 3 games of CW before I got bored of owning all his friends that he brought along just for me to own :roll: such noobs they were level 34 with nothing on high scores says "hahaha, noob level 99 doing a lvl 85's dirty work," that was the worst I got, but still. After a short break, I went back to barrows for my last 2 trips before having to buy more supplies (only managed 2 thanks to nature alter :D First trip as expected, just had double item, not expecting anything, second trip went normal until I used 2 sharks before getting to the chest (none left now) and I only had 1 dose of prayer left to kill Karil, so I decided that I would where my melee armour and half kill him, then pot and switch to slayer dart, to my surprise it worked quite well, only used 12 prayer points. I open the chest ready to teleport, and again I got another 160 bolts, and then it hits me again :shock: another veracs helm!!!! I made 7mil worth of stuff in 3 trips, that was possibly the best day I've ever had in RS.

well, ok, not too long ago, before i quit rs (back on now :-s ) i started keeping a "book diary" or a fully detailed journal of my rs life, i guess just for fun. i onlt got 3 days done before i wuit and i havent started doing it again yet. but here they are

Being a Death knight for a few months has been a blast. It is so great to be in a clan with so high requirements, so that noobs cannot come in and spoil the fun. It is so great to know everyone in the clan, and be a part of a community since RunescapeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s collapsed. It is so great to be friends with so many high levels, none of which are stuck up (except Shisha :)*braces for slapping*). I have come to realise that I have been in this clan for ages, and I am still in the juniors. True it has been fun, but I have always wondered how much greater it would be to reach level 100, to become an actual member and to truly belong.

Theories about pinguins preparing a war against mankind and dwarves and goblins joining together to fight Falador :lol: There are hundreds and hundred of pages of ridicilous suggestions, check them out!

 

 

 

2) Make calculations.

 

I just found out, that I need to play 115 hours to get to slayer lvl 85 and 758 hours to get to maxed melees :shock: No, I have not checked if I have done my math right, but those number seem to be right..

 

Making calculations is not only interesting, but it also makes time go faster.

 

 

 

3) Read God letters/ old behind the scenes/ readers letters and so on

 

There are many good stories, you wanted those? Perfect for killing time. After you have read those, check out The Manual and hiscores. Should take you a while :wink:

I also read like every P2P quest guide and skill guide I could find before becoming a member, then when the day came I just stood fletching bows until I had 50 fletching, now I read official forums, especially recent and future updates, as well as suggestions, I like bumping good suggestions seeing as my bro and I came up with the whole bank pin thing, we were both F2P then so we just sent in a few suggestions rather than using forums, but it worked!!! So now I try and make other people's ideas work. I used to find the high scores fun, but without the Old Nite and lillyuffie88 doing anything, it got kinda boring. Although I'm still watching Laryr's progress with 200m RCing xp, they day he reaches that will be the day Jagex allows us to get more than 200m xp. That'll be so cool!
