i completly agree, jagex does more than enough testing, they have realsed thousands of small changes to the software sinse i started and i have never been caught out once even though sometimes i swear i've killed 100000000000!!!! dust devils

Should Jagex do anything to improve its testing protocols? Possibly, but as they̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re committed to a schedule of one major update per month and a minor one every week or so, I doubt there̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s much they can do other than hire more programmers and software testers.

Why not just get people in game willing to do it for free (but as player mods)

Everyone who plays the game does it for free. There's a bug report button in the customer service area of the homepage (I think), so anyone qwho plays the game and finds a bug is doing what you just said.

Good article. I don't do any programming myself, but I happen to be highly involved in a few beta tests of some pretty large and complex games, and there's always tons of bugs.

Obtained quest cape and base 92 before obtaining any 99s! Currently finishing out my 99s with the (long-distant) goal of comp cape.

A fantastically written piece of work, very informative, I liked it... We need more interviews though, with more famous runescape names. \'

yeah i agree, not many companies admit to having bugs, and thats why i trust jagex sooo much because they will admit to problems in there software.

to be honest i thought this was one of the more boring articals ,perhaps some more in-depth description and events of the bugs or something

Good article, speaking of glitches, I never had any glitches that helped me, but some glitches were fun... Like the easter egg one... One time I got stuck in duel arena, that was loads of fun...XD

real interesting, i really like the online newspaper u guys put out

"the recent massacre in Falador (about which more than enough has already been said)....I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d probably feel a little differently if I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d lost a couple of million or a party hat in the Great Runescape Massacre of 2006."-Tip.It Times Editor, 47th edition.

What was the "Great Runescape Massacre of 2006," and what was the "recent massacre in Falador (about which more than enough hass already been said)."? WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON IN RUNESCAPE THAT I DON'T KNOW ABOUT!!?!??!?!?!? :-k
