I think you've misunderstood. We've all came to this board initially because of Runescape (we played Runescape in the past) but a lot of us Off-Topic'ers got tired of it but we became so attached to the community we didn't want to leave. So we hang around the boards that there is no Runescape talk and have nothing to do with Runescape talk so we can still talk and enjoy each other's online virtual company. :P

Welcome! You'll find a lot of people who really don't care about RuneScape and are here just for the awesome people... I play RuneScape every now and then but I post more often in the Gallery and Off-Topic sections...

And you know what, I initialy joined here because of runescape. I stayed because I liked the people.

 

 

 

In your 'analogy' (yeah...) it's like going to texa's to become a cowboy, but than later stop being a cowboy but stay in texa's anyways because you have a lot of friends there.
