They better be expensive if they are going to be good. Right now in the wilderness rangers risk the least amount of cash compared to warriors and mages.

And to be honest... its the only thing that comes to mind for me as well. They hopefully wouldn't create a whole new spell list just to add more pointless spells. They've pretty much touched on everything except Summoning.

 

 

 

Think about it: maybe jagex considers those bow-swords to be crossbows? You never know with jagex...

 

 

 

I suggest you read the Behind the Scenes section again. Because they specifically said that the crossbows have been more or less neglected. And seeing as though we only have maybe three types of Crossbows in game... I think its safe to say that they mean crossbows.

i agree they've touched everything ecept summoning but then again how muhc have they stepped on everything and how hard do they need to step on everything before they do something huge like summoning?

meh im starting to think the kb leak was intentional - a red herring, il be pissed if it is because i sold all my santas to prepare for the economy lapse.

 

 

 

And how would it lapse? The only thing we saw was Mos le' Harmless update and 8 new slayer monsters. Wich I doubt are even coming out today.

If you notice the official forums, it is always being spammed with summoning suggestions. I have to agree that jagex has put almost all types of magic into their game, except the popular summoning. It is completely logical that they would put this in.

 

 

 

You can also see that Jagex doesnt want to say that they are releasing summoning directly to the runescape public. This is the same thing they did for POH, they kept it mostly a secret to surprise people.

 

 

 

What tends to happen when you tell people about a big update, and have them wait a month for it *cough* farming *cough*, people get dissapointed because when people wait a month for something, they expect it to be REALLY good/fun.

Bloodveld, you pick the most weirdest of things to debate over. They specifically said crossbows, what part of that is so hard to understand?

 

 

 

The slender sword (or whatever its technical name is) will more then likely be part of a quest. Not saying it wont ever be a useable item, but they definitly are not referring to that in the Behind the Scenes.
