July 5, 200620 yr Has anyone gotten the Black Mask if they weren't on a Cave Horror task? I'm level 126 and i've been here over two and a half hours... Nothing. Ya, I got mine just killing them. Took an hour or so.
July 5, 200620 yr I used black hides, rune defender, d scimmy, climbing boots, the neclace thingy and berserker helm, ring of wealth, obby cape and dark gloves and it took 2 trips to finish my shilo assignment of ~ 150 cave horrors. It was slow xp, waste of monkfish and I didn't even get the mask. My guthans didn't heal enough to be efficient. Tip: take a tinderbox with you to burn the mahogany logs and alch runes for the addy helms and rune daggers. Those will save you some inv space. And I will have to get there again to get my mask :-#

July 5, 200620 yr I got my mask after only about 1 hour there. Now I'm going for another one. You might want to add belladonna seed to the drops also. Edit 2: Just got a triple drop including cabbage seeds and 2 herbs (guam + marrentill)
July 5, 200620 yr Author its seems that when ur fighing a horror and someone else is close he also gets hit by the horror this is very weird and happend a few times to me. :-k I was once at the airport with my friends in California, had to go "potty" really bad, and just pissed my pants in the middle of the terminal. Even more, he says that he can convert crab claws to pirate hooks! I'd love to get some more info about this stuff.
July 5, 200620 yr I don't know if anybody already mentioned it, but when you have an assignement of monkeys, the cave horrors dont counts as monkeys, I tried it but didn;t got any slayer xp... :wink:

He doesnt patch them together from each other he simple combines them together.I myself have a pirate hat-eyepatch combo and i think it looks quite good.
July 5, 200620 yr I got these seeds: Kwuam, Lantadyme, Dwarf, Irit, Avantoe, Toadflax, Belladonna, Poison Ivy, and Snapdragon Coins, max amount I got was 441gp Lots of (4) Teak Logs, drops of 2 (unnoted) Mahogany Logs. Rune daggers, Nature Runes (6) .. really often, and Addy Full Helms. -- About the mask, It took FOREVER to get but it's worth it.. the whole time I spent fighting those things I hit 27 as my max. I took the same setup to my next task and hit 31 max, and 35 with prayer. (I had a warrior helm on so it made no difference) and I kept the ammy you need to fight them on. So there IS an attack and strength bonus, I just don't think there's a defense once cause I potted (only super def) and was still getting hit alot (as usual lol) VERY useful during slayer training.
July 5, 200620 yr After spending 2 days down in that cave, I finally got one! These things drop a TON of herb seeds, only Toadflax-Torstol. I got all the possible herb seed drops, along with cactus, bell and poison ivy seed drops, and even 3 half key drops before getting this mask. July 5, 200620 yr I just used my mask for a short time, and it went from 10 to 8. If these are not easy to recharge, they are worthless. At some time, one tires of all the disappearing benefits and having to recharge or repay for things. Some are worth it; this may very well not be. But, as fast as they deteriorate, there is no way I am going down there and spend the time and effort to obtain something that lasts no longer than that. I just tried to repair mine in my workroom, and it was a no go. If this is the case then the mask should be reserved for high lvl monsters such as metal drags. :-w Has anyone tried using their completely uncharged Black Mask with the suspicious-looking slab of stone that has an indent of the mask on it, which is right near the entrance to the Cave of Horrors? :-w |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|
