axeraider70
I like these shows alot, some of them are hillarious while others are interesting. kind of the beginning for where i started to watch these police/detective shows- followed by Monk, CSI (oh what a suprise!), Psych (which is making its debut tommorow), and im pretty sure i hit all of the series i watch related to that but yeah. Anyway i've downloaded several Law & Order episodes to my ipod and watch them when im waiting around somewhere or just for fun. Anybody else into these kind of series? axeraider70.deviantART.com
vladmoney
I used to watch a lot of Law & Order, but i just lost all love for it recently and havent watched one in like a year. I still watch CSI though, im a big fan of all them (except NY). Visit my DeviantArt Page at http://vladmoney.deviantart.com

I watch mostly Law & Order: SVU apart from any of the other series, i dont like the original Law & Order that much. Criminal Intent is ok but im more familiar with the SVU charachters. axeraider70.deviantART.com

No_OnE
When our computer broke a while back, I was forced to watch TV and I watched CSI Miami sometimes. It was a pretty interesting show. Now I barely watch TV except really really late at night before I go to bed.
knives669
I can't believe that no one has mentioned COPS yet! That's one of the most badass shows out there! I too love CSI and Law and Order (SVU ftw). I am the only one I know who likes these shows though. :(
misterxman
Columbo would be something you may want to check out. Detective figures out how/who/when a murder happened. Might be hard to find episodes but the shows you already listed are good. Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art

Some of them are funny, cause some of the criminals are such low lifes and stupid. Wait, you watch a show where they solve complex crimes in an apparent matter of days? i havent taken it. but yes. they even go to the morgue to see dead people... and the teacher makes out a fake crime scenario, with real finger print, clues blah blah. and in the end its usually one of the teachers who commited the fake crime.. they also play with real human bones, and look at bullet wounds.. it sound fun, but not something im interested in for my future... and the teacher sounds like mr. garrison from south park.. Arcticrunite
Not sure if your old enough, but if your about, eh 16+ or Mature, id suggest you check out the showtime hit Sleeper Cell. About an FBI agent infiltrating a group of terrorists in Los Angeles. A very captivating and gripping show. But i only reccomend it for very mature audiences. Haha, Miss Marple. :D I'm not really into CSi and so. I prefer Inspector Morse and Maigret. Those two are my favorites. Those are detectives you should take a look at. CSI, don't make me laugh. =; Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
blushenka
Everyone seems to like CSI nowadays, never watched a single episode I must confess. :| I dunno if The X Files comes into this category of police/detective, maybe it does a bit since it has 2 FBI agents investigating stuff. Anyway, it's more about mystery and paranormal and conspiracies, sometimes bordering on sci-fi, more than the 'who dun it?' thing. But it's an amazingly clever show, and entertaining too. In my opinion, the best show ever made. Like, ever! For a while now I've been watching a British detective series called Midsommer Murders, which is really neat. It has that old fashioned feel to it, a bit like Agatha Christie stuff, and it's very *British. Oh and stuff happens really fast, it's never boring. Oh, and Monk rules! Gotta love that guy :D "Metal isn't about violence or faggy whiny lyrics. It isn't even about who plays the heaviest and fastest. It is about invoking a sense of wonder and magnitude that no other genre can depict."

assassin_696
I like CSI, you have to take all the techniques with a pinch of salt, but it's pretty damn cool 8-) Daan, Miss Marple, classic. Mercifull
Theres an American version being made atm so they too will get to see how amazing it is. This is perhaps the first time ive agreed an American own version will be better suited to Americans than the original simply because they wouldnt "get" any of the issues and back stories that take place in the UK version (football riots etc) Ive got series 1 on DVD which is good, got a few features and stuff on there which is pretty cool :D Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape.
