Flame_guy3
I know this should be in the suggestions forum but dont you honestly think the knife and hammer should be used as weapons as well...? just a thought... :? Umega
The knife was many moons ago ;) Even though the knife bug caused a huge bug to be exploited in RSC, it doesn't mean they avoid adding it in again as a weapon in RS2. I personally would love to see the hammer and knife as weapons. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
killjoyfuly
seems like a good idea. we can already weild wood cuting axes and pick axes why not hammers it would make smithing easier and fletching.
Ralvn
yea. it would give an extra space when im smithing at least. and when you're smithing 20k steel bars...it counts
Flame_guy3
Yeah it would help fletching loads for my goal of fletching 50 for the end of the day and smithing would be made a hell load easier. And plus when your a newbie to the game you cant afford even bronze sometimes hammers and knives are easily accessed. I think merchanting is extinct.... I never heard of it sounds quite intriguing i mean what the hell could a knife be used for in RSC that could exploit a huge bug? I think merchanting is extinct.... 12enegade0
from what i know...you were able to equip many knives and the more you had equiped the harder you could hit...i mean lvl 3s could hit insane amounts possibly :-k

nicrune007
there was a time.. where if you equip a knife you get +2 str bonus.. then a glitch.. you can equip more then 1 knife... so 30*2=60 str bonus.. comething like that Hey Nicrune007 , Whats Your Username? 99 Ranged on 2/6/07 99 Hit Points on 9/5/08 99 Defense on 26/4/08 99 Attack on 14/2/09 99 Strength on 25/2/09 99 Slayer on 13/9/09\:D/
Flame_guy3
Yes but that one space could really be useful when smithing 20k steel bars as the person earlier said or fletching 20k willow logs. And just a really accessible weapon to newbies would be good too. I think merchanting is extinct.... Xaga
Easier programming. There are areas in members, well, I think, where you are not allowed to bring weapons or armor. I know mage arena you can't have weapons. Entrana or something you cant bring weapons or amor? I'm not sure, I'm f2p afterall. Then knife and hammer would be included and not allowed. Right now, they only need to have a check to see if you have anything wieldable. If they added kinfe and hammer to wieldable they would have to check to allow those. I know for a fact you can't take the knife into the mage arena which is also a non-weapon place, but you can't wield it in there. I'm not sure about Entrana because people might fletch there. The hammer is less of a weapon than the knife though. Off topic a little: Isn't there a picture of someone in full rogues with a regular knife equipped on the front page of the runescape site? Or is that another weapon I'm seeing incorrectly?

Xaga
Ah, I remember something when reading the Mage Arena guide about needing a knife to cut through webs cause you cant bring a weapon? dorker42
yea. it would give an extra space when im smithing at least. and when you're smithing 20k steel bars...it counts Then again, when smithing steel bars, you can only hold enough ores for 9 steel bars per inventory; 18 coal and nine iron. This would leave one extra space for the hammer. :) fan of her's.You know what I hate? People putting an apostrophe on a personal pronoun. STOP IT.
