I sometimes (quite often actually) say lol without even giggling to what the other person says. What about you? (She was preparing to ditch that boy). Guess what his answer was? A plain "lol" I find it irritating when people lol all the time, as I'm sure they don't think it's funny. "I just went out and bought some toasts" "lol" :roll: I actually boycotted the word lol for a while, and I hardly use it nowadays as well. I do sometimes use it when I don't mean it, I guess it's just something natural that comes after playing too much Runescape. Visit my Runescape comedy website, based on in-game screenshots. If someone actually manages to crack a decent joke or if they make a witty comment, I will "lol" just to show my appreciation of the good humour even if I am not smiling. I think I have genuinly laughed at something someone has said on the internet less than ten times. Most of the times on this forum. Possibally never on Runescape.
