i saw that in the newspaper it was so cool. Anyways im just starting merchanting ess and chaos runes.

Saw it on TV :P And I started with 10mil and bought a green and red hween mask. Sadly I sold them shortly afterwards for 12mil red and 4mil green :cry: :cry:

I started selling coloured capes on falador, moved to coloured gloves, treasure trails, nats, yews, rares...And I have about 110m value on my bank now :P

I think my first money maker was making pies in the cooking guild, then mozying on down to the edge of the wilderness in Varrock of Edgeville and selling them there.

 

 

 

I have about 50mill value now :)

on topic:well i tried to go and do the same thing in runescape except with a feather but everyone called me a noob(with a noob file) :oops:

started with 15k which I spent on a flaemtar hammer and some oil. Sold the cloths and other stuff I got from the shades which got me to 100k. I bought yews for 250 and sold them for 300 up to 500k then used the 500k to go into business with my friend buying ranarr seeds and growing ranarr to sell. My bank is currently valued at about 15-20 mil

This guy even got a chance to go live on CNN a few times because of this. I mean I'd do that, get a house after trading a bunch of items, and get on national tv a few times.

i basically made a mill from like 100k when construction came out

 

i brought oaks from noobs for 20ea

 

made into planks and sold for heaps...

Long story:

 

 

 

I had 300k, cut 300 mages. Got 600k, merchanted cannons to 1Mil Cash. I then merchanted Flails. I then got around 2.3M. I bought Full Zammy (2.5M I think) And Got D WC (2.5M) and something I forget worth 200k. So I had 2.7M. Got enough for whip (3M) merchanting flails. Merhchanted whips, bought 2.9M, sold 3M. Got armor back. And a perfect way of making 800k. I was getting 70 mage. I was teleporting to Cammy :mrgreen: And this lvl 90 (I think he bought the account) said "Anyone wanna buy blk cav 200k?" I was thinking the prices dropped, found out they were still 1M! Bought, and sold, 3 minutes, 800k :D

 

And that's how I got my money for Whip/70 Mage.

 

 

 

I lost my whip, due to scam/Pk. MERCHANTED!! All the way to whip and rune armor again, thanks to my good freinds, letting me borrow whip and torag, 2M to merchant with

I started off buying pot from the general store and hustled them to players for a large amount of money. Then, with my money, I modified the pot I had, and even grinded limps as an addition (which obviously made them sell for more, aka rocks). Started off with 20 gp, now I'm at 3 mil.

Yea i saw that on the news a few weeks ago, Cool story :P

I've sold some useless stuff for anywhere from 1-7k... shows what some people will do out of desperation.

Turned 600k from making steel bars into full guthix from cowhides.

I'm not much of a merchant. Best thing I've pulled of is 11.4M > a set of Guthan's > 11.5M & Fire Cape :P

I'm f2p and always have been so bare that in mind:

 

 

 

I started off merchanting rune ess, starting with about 40k gp. Slowly, my gp raised and raised... and raised. I seemed to get a bit lucky with ess and after about two to three weeks I had amounted about 30m cash, and a santa (worth 5m at the time). This is where my cash really did shoot up in amount and I started to make almost 6m a day. Autoers had shifted the ess economy, and it went in my favour, and I was making mega cash. After a good while more of merchanting ess I had a green mask, red mask, santa hat and about 120m. Then the pure ess update came, and I ended up getting knocked back by 40m thanks to the depreciation of regular ess (I'm f2p). I sold my green mask and santa and then had about 105m cash. I then bought a green phat for 98.5m. I now needed something new to merchant - cowhides. I furthered my gp and bought back the santa and green mask. Then the cowhide market started to slow down so I went on to willows, where I merchanted about 30m, which the majority of which I traded with my green phat for a red one.

Uh, I started off with a Purple Phat and eventually got it upgraded to a Green one with a bunch of trades but couldn't get any further.

storyies a bit longer and is the reason i will never get my banked cash amount to less then 60k :-$

i started with yew logs mostly, then a lot of different stuff afterwards, biggest were probably rares that go up themselves without any work (but you gotta know the pattern of when to buy them, and when to sell, otherwise you might start losing money) and go from there
