I think GSW is against the idea :. Anyway not many people actually use buddies so there isn't much need for a buddies forum. And also it means that Tip.It will have to find even more moderators to moderate it.

IMO tip.it has lived for a long great time without buddies, and IMO we don't need them... Agree with GSW :)

Then we'd also have to make a board for pixel sigs, for abstract sigs, for fakes, for desktop backgrounds, for smileys, for paintbrush, for photos, for photomanips, and for any other type of art possible.

 

 

 

Gallery has plenty of room to post your own creations if they are buddies.

I remember reading somewhere that phpBB3 will include sub-forums like vBulliten and other boards. I can't find where I read that though. :? That would make adding sub-categories like this *much* easier since they won't add to the length of the front page, and still fall under the current gallery mods.

As i have absolutely no idea what a "buddy kit" is , I couldnt say , but I'm going to trust misterxman on this as the Gallery is pretty much his home around here :P

If Tip.it could afford it, vBulletin is great for this kind of organisation.

Organization of that calibur isn't neccesarily a good thing though. You only want extra boards where needed. A board with 12 topics is ultimately pointless, and nobody ever goes to it.

Sadly, they already put that in the "suggestions blacklist". Been there since this board was started.

Also, a new board would only be needed if there was already an existing huge amount of "buddy" posts. Currently, and for many months, there's only 1 or 2 buddy posts in Gallery, tiny amount compared to other kinds like abstract or pixel, so no need for a new buddy board.

What's a buddy :lol:.

Buddies are the lowest form of pixel art. They're dress-up dolls on crack. I am firmly against any kind of encouragement of this waste of bandwidth.
