Bludragon124 Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 i died once at karamja from tribesman poison... i was only level 70 then, and had just become a member. i lost about 350k worth of stuff, including a glory, granite sheild, berserker helm, liek 6k bronze arrows. but i managed to keep my rune plate, legs, and dragon longsword. i now realize i could have kept g sheild or zerker if i had used protect item right before i died #-o #-o #-o #-o Noted raw mackerel drop... The first time I died, I was around 90 cb and had just finished dt and went to find a multi area to train in. Well, it's kinda hard to stay alive when the ice spells wear off and there's a ranger attacking you and all your wearing is mystic. So I lost about 400k worth of items and runes, but hey I made that back. The second time I died was once again to a tzhaar, except this time it was with dharoks on. So yea, since when did they max at 15 and not 14? #-o I thought I was safe with 15 hp, but apparently not. Lost my helm rune boots, glory, and wealth. Some noob picked it up and I had to buy them back from him for 1 mil, still under market but yea whatever, it was my fault for not checking there max. Things were going so well too, I a lot of supplies left, and he was about 1.3 dead. I came back though and beat the Jesus out of him. I also came close to dieing against Dessous, but I managed to kill him. I think the last time was a couple months ago doing Desert Treasure, my comp lagged out against the vampire guy (forgot name) and I died. I died a lot when I was a noob though lol Don't free Durial. I was low level, and wandering around when it started attacking me. I never ran away for some reason, just fought back and eventually died. The funny thing is it scared me off from going to that part of Varrock for a long time. Now, everytime I visit that part, I make it my duty to find the Mugger and kill him. 2) At the Dagganoth Kings when they first came out before all the guides. I was with a couple friends, but for some reason they were all focused on me, and the damage being done was more than I could eat. liljimpyro Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 Died once as a member, and it was not fun: Day of getting membership, i decided to see what all the fuss about the KQ was, so i went and got the stuff i needed for the desert according to tip.it, and ran off towards the dungeon marked "Kalphite Lair." Bear in mind im wearing my brand new d long, and my full rune with a brand new glory and at the time this meant a lot to me. Needless to say, after getting past the kalphite guards and poisoned, with no tele runes etc, i was pretty screwed already, i ran blindly into the KQ and got 1 hitted by her mage attack. Not fun. First time playing, "cornered" by evil rats :< lost first time playing junk, so buckets, bones, etc :P - That one time I thought I could take on that dwarf. - To an Ice Giant while doing Knight's Sword. I was around level 25, and for some reason unable to run away. Lost steel or whatever :P - My first encounter with poison. Lost a Rune Large. - My first encounter with the boobytrapped altar near Yanille. Minus another Large. It's VERY annoying when you can't rush through mobs and are locked in combat for three rounds. - Underground Pass. Was a bit too reckless there :P but as fate would have it, I died during a sequence of traps where you take 2 damage a bunch of times. It went like 2, 2, 2, dead, flash of lumby, mysterious teleport back to pass, 2, 2. Stood next to my own pile of items with 4 damage taken. Didn't lose anything that one time :P Those are all I recall from RS classic. In RS2, I only recall dying once, apart from three failed Fight Cave attempts. Ring of Life saved me once from King Dagannoths. They wreaked a lot of havoc on their release day :P My only death was against Abberant Spectres, when I spend a little too much time wondering why I was being hit all the time, then found the chain-exit not working, overlooked the door and died trying to teleport out. Considering that includes wilderness kills and me being stupid thats pretty good. Oh and 7 of them were me getting pked. Gathered around 4k feathers while training ONLY attack (wanted to have a rune 2hander at a really low combat) and then accidently buried a bone. I was so mad that I had gained a prayer level (wasn't the first time I made the mistake obviously) that I didn't notice the zombie that popped up and owned me. Had nearly enough feathers for that 2hander too, lol. I was watching tv while ranging that mage guy in the top of wizard's tower (Mizmog or something but he is unattackable now) and died. Made it back to gather up all of my arrows, etc. so wasn't a biggy. I had never heard of Sara Wizards attacking people, so when it popped up and attacked me I put on Mage Prayer, and got basically owned by it's dds. I teled away to the Watchtower (only tele on me) but I was at such a low hp that I died before I even made it down the tower. I was lvl 77 I believe, and wearing Full Guthix when I died. :? . Thankfully I've had no other deaths since then, other than CW :wink: . Trained until I was totally out of food, then until I was below 10hp (was trying to maximize my training time). An earth warrior finished me off just as I was going to tele.
