My soccer practice this morning

Soccer practice seemed normal enough today, got hit around a bit nothin too bad, then some idiot on my team kicked me in the achiles with his shin. I'm alright though, they're just a little sore. However, near the end of practice some other guy on my team who's to chicken * to take me on properly, drops down and swipes at the ball with his foot. Obviously he misses and kicks me in the ankle AS WELL as the achiles that had been kicked earlier in the practice. I fell and landed and crushed his back and kidney with metal studs, not plastic, metal, on my boots, and when we finished tumbling i get up and go to walk on my foot and collapse because of the pain. No soccer game for me tomorrow :wall: <.<

Last year at the Canada squash junior nationals i was warming up for my match.. which i lost lol.. but on topic i was warming up with my freind sammy and Chris. We were playing a little game we like lives. You start off with 7 lives and every time you miss a shot or hit the tin you lose a life. I step into the service box and sammy gets ready for the serve. i rocket one in their and i dont expect her to return it, so i kinda had my guard down.. Wrong move smartie :shame: She gets it off the backwall and smacks a backhander right into the back of my hamstring..and im thinking wow.. there goes my leg. I check my throbbing lef and i find a massive blue/black bruise already forming.. Oh! fun i thought.. and then i found out i had no lives.. wow party. So i go lie up at the front and i cover my face with the raquet and my loser area with my hip.. And Chris that doofus smacks one right onto my hip.. OUCH!! :XD: :XD: Well i left there with 2 injuries and one really sweaty body.. needless to say i was back the next day

Broken ribs during a football (soccer) game a month back or so. Collided with the goalie pretty hard. =D> Atleast it healed before my Uni tryouts

I broke one of my ribs a few years ago when my brother (who used to play baseball as a pitcher. A very good one at that. He could throw as fast as 80 mph) threw a baseball at me and I didn't catch it. That kind of injury sucks. :(

I don't play any sports, but I still get injuries from wrestling friends of mine... and doing stupid stuff. Plus, Merlin (my kitty) still has claws. He likes to spend time in my lap while I'm on the computer. But, he can't jump high enough. So, he jumps and clings to my leg and tries to climb the rest of the way. >.<

I don't think i've ever had any bad injuries during football matches, but i broke my wrist once playing rugby, which kinda sucked. 6 weeks in a cast :(

Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.

aw, thats so cute. i wanna see that i bet i would laugh.. a lot.

well, my knees are weird anyway, got a patellalateralisation... anyway, i injured my meniscus on my right knee. we went skiing with our school.

down the hill... then there is a part with little bumps in it... and at the end it joins with another ski slope. but you cant see bacause there are trees in your way... i went down the one with the bumps and almost hit a little kid that appeared after the trees about 3 meters away from me :-s . she was trying to slow down and i guess decided that it would be an awesome idea to just use that area.

anyway, managed it not to hit her and the post of the lift, but she got a sister -.- . no didnt run into her. bump. lost balance, drove a little bit.. couldnt make it, another bump, almost fell into my teacher who talked to that girl that she shouldnt do that... walked around to get my ski glasses and ski back, knee hurt but wasnt too bad. so i went to the doctor afterwards... both of them ripped.

well done kid  :ohnoes:

I had a guy stamp down my thigh once in a football match. I got three pretty nasty gashes down my leg from him. Let's just say that I wasn't a happy bunny :-w

Yeah I always get knocks during training or games, but I've had nothing too bad from football. An example, a couple of weeks ago I got a kick on the bone on the outside of my right foot, was very sore for a week, but it didn't stop me from playing.

Just before that I think I dislocated my shoulder by accident whilst playing squash. It's still a bit sore certain ways I move it.

No injury, but a gfoolish soccer accident:

me and some friends playing soccer, when Ben goes through the defense, and I'm the Last Man Standing, so I give the best of myself and prepare to slide him. But then he makes an awkward move, and (he's 6'6" tall) somehow his shoulder touches my teeth, and at quite a speed.

One of my teeth breaks, not just a little pice but almost the entire tooth, to the root, snapped. Ben, one of my best friends, is panicing more than I am as he sees me lying on the grass shouting with pain (I guarantee a lot of pain when cold air gets in touch with your senses inside your teeth). I realise my tooth broke off, but we were able to find it, the grass wasn't tall.

Eventually, it was nothing really bad; the dentist had to recreate the missing part of the tooth and somehow pasted it on. You can't even see anything happened now. I :3> technology.

Hehe, that happened twice to a friend of mine in a week. We played squash twice on school, and in both lessons he dislocated his shoulder  . Poor guy, it hurts like hell he told me.

Thing is that I'm double-jointed in my arms and can dislocate one shoulder when I want, but it happened without me meaning to do it because I tried to hit the ball too hard at a weird angle.

I think if I wasn't double-jointed then it would have hurt a lot more.

I think I've actually been injured worse playing soccer than american football

Worst injury I took during football was I think I took a helmet to the shin which swelled up the size of about a baseball. It was kinda sick, but disappeared after I iced it...

Playing soccer, I was warming up before a game playing goalie in indoor soccer. So one guy had taken a shot which I blocked and was picking up the ball, and I got nailed in the face by the ball, an absolute rocket of a shot. I figured I could shake it off and do fine. About five minutes into the game, I realized that the little starry things weren't good. Aww man, concussion. So, finished the game, went home, threw up, got some water and painkillers and slept it off.

Soccer? I only play that in school  but, we play indoors for some reason, so when you fall, you're hitting concrete, not grass :x

I've never been really hurt playing soccer indoors (just bruises and scrapes) but in another period, we had two kids break bones in a timespan of three days :P they were both playing defense, too
