kill2pleasure Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 if you read this you can take the time to post please :) i been a rs player for about..2 years..never scammed anyone, always helped out.even gave a few random peeps some cash..and today..i got keylogged because i would lend a friend 2m for his whip..he gets made and 3 days later over the im he sends me a link over yahoo im with a funny joke on it..it was late at night..so i read the joke..got on for 5 mins and then went to bed. the next day..i go to log on and it says..invalid username or password i figure i just typed it in wrong..same thing..i change my password with recoveries and i log on and my friend deleted all my friends..dropped my fire cape..and in my friends list said.. you(censor) noob all i needed was 2000000 for my whip and you wouldnt give so i take all your stuff and dropped you r fire cape good luck getting it all back its really upsetting you besst friend one day..worst enemy the next guess you gotta chose your frined carefully Home World: 99Irc-Chat: #Aod Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Did you lose like any rares or anything? becasue if you did that really sucks. And for the fire cape. Ouch. Good luck on getting it all back. Hit him around a little. I know I know, violence isnt the answer, but I think this guy needs to be taught a serious lesson. You can't just let that go, or at least I couldn't very easily. Definitly don't talk to this guy anymore though. I fully agree on the no trust thing. I have a hard time trusting anybody in rs with some encounters along the same lines a long time ago (not with anybody I actually know and luckily this person lost alot of valueable items and quit which I'm happy about, karma got him :D ). I lend out certain things to people and invest a certain amount of trust in some, but there is a line that I dont let anybody cross, not anybody, because even if they are a good friend, pixels can still screw up there heads so I don't like to take any chances . :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That being said, getting tricked into receiving a keylogger is no fun. But please don't say you were hacked, because you weren't. Hacked = someone goes into your computer system. Keylogger = someone can see what you have typed. I hope you get your cape back, and that your so-called friend gets what he deserves. Scamming, tricking, luring, bug abusing, macroing - all the same, and should be punished severely. You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic.
