you know i was watching this movie the other day and i got to thinking. the community has really gone to crap over the past 4-5 years i have been playing so i decided to try and do something. i went to a free world and found three new players. all were around combat 15 and all had low other stats which meant they weren't worker accounts. i then gave each one 50k and told them that one day when they were finacially stable they need to find three new players and give each of them 50k to give them a leg up. i know that they may not do what i asked but i think sometimes we all should try and make an attempt to make the community a little better. if only one of them helps one other person then it was a success.

did you tell them too pay it forward if not i think this plan will be a dud

Giving a level 15 50k will only result ina set of full mith being bought for 30k.

Well he was trying to do something good. Honestly they dont know what to do with it and most likely wont remember this day. Nice try in trying to start something new but it most likely will fall out.

Anyways, I know what you are saying. I logged on today and this level 15 character was on and kept on trading me. Instead of calling him a noob or worse yet, giving him anything of value, I told him where he could make some money selling flax and told him a few tips that would get him far in the game. He stopped trading me, started picking up the flax, and began to bank it. Hopefully I helped somebody become a decent RS player. But seriously...throwing money at the problem doesn't help anybody. And life doesn't work like that movie. If somebody helped me on the condition that I have to help three other people, would I do it? NO! That's a complete rip-off!

I sometimes help a lower lvl with a quest ro two sometimes. I don't want to be know as "just another stuck-up high lvl".

I help on average 5 people a day with things like that. I give away money, items, and information. I even guide them to areas they want to go. I spend about 2 hours a day helping other people on runescape.
