July 31, 200619 yr Just one thing to say. As 99% of you already know, Jagex released a line of enchantable crossbow bolts today, as well as some more powerful crossbows. I just have one question though. How many bolts can one gem make? Because unless it's something like 10k, does Jagex honestly believe that people will waste onyx, that gem that costs over 4m (300k tokkul), on making arrows? C'mon! My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.
July 31, 200619 yr Well, you don't have to turn an onyx into bolt tips... You can just buy them from the shop that sells Onyx. The only useful thing about the onyx bolts though, is when enchanted they leech life from the monster/player you're fighting. Will update when I feel like it.
July 31, 200619 yr Well, you don't have to turn an onyx into bolt tips... You can just buy them from the shop that sells Onyx. And maybe even as a monster drop... No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
July 31, 200619 yr Author Yeah okay whatever, I didn't know about some crazy bolt shop ... Still. Hypothetically speaking, that would be pretty ridiculous. My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.
July 31, 200619 yr they're expensive considering per shot from shop- but leeching life and hitting extra damage is good- plus being onyx theyll have a high normal max- i know some pkers will use them- only downside is if enchanted the pker doesnt get the drop- i think they need to either make enchanted ones tradable, or make it so they lose their charge when u die with them. 118+ combat1730+ total85 slayer95 mage94 range
July 31, 200619 yr Picture this, you are a ranger and a very good dueler, you stake a collection of rares against someone and they stake the equivilent. I'm sure you can spare a few mil worth of bolts to leech their health, infact thats practically fool-proof, 99 range, Def and onyx bolts, rune xbow as the french would say fzw. (for ze win)
July 31, 200619 yr you can buy 1 bolttip for 1500 at gem shop and if you chisel a onyx you get 24 bolttips instead of the normal 12 u get you get from a gem Tip.it's 2nd unoffical Go player sm3x;
July 31, 200619 yr yeah for intense range staking spent 20m on like 100 onyx bolts for like a phat set stake use crystal shield 10/10, rune xbow, and yeah.
July 31, 200619 yr its like 200k per bolt only thing you would use them for is staking around 10-15k a shot from shop 118+ combat1730+ total85 slayer95 mage94 range
July 31, 200619 yr its moronic...25k gp per shot ( 26k if u count in the bolt) which isnt all that special. I wouldnt say anything if the thing hit 30s or 40s ( considering the incredible speed of a rune x bow)-- but crystal hits harder than this. Again its moronic.
July 31, 200619 yr its like 200k per bolt only thing you would use them for is staking Lol and only for 1m+ stakes, because if they disappear on the ground your screwed.
July 31, 200619 yr its like 200k per bolt only thing you would use them for is staking Lol and only for 1m+ stakes, because if they disappear on the ground your screwed. they cant disappear on the floor in the dueling arena :wall:
July 31, 200619 yr ( considering the incredible speed of a rune x bow) :shock: "incredible speed"?? Its not that fast...
July 31, 200619 yr ( considering the incredible speed of a rune x bow) :shock: "incredible speed"?? Its not that fast...its slower than poopie........ I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete.So, what is 1.111... equal to?10/9. Please don't continue.
July 31, 200619 yr I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather use Dragonstone-Tipped bolts. Doesn't fire breath hit in the 40's?
August 1, 200619 yr ( considering the incredible speed of a rune x bow) :shock: "incredible speed"?? Its not that fast...its slower than poopie........ That's the point he's trying to make.
August 1, 200619 yr when jagex brought on con they wer hoping that would take enough money out of the econimy now they brought out combat with it there hoping to drain our money because noobs complane about high prices if jagex seems like there trying noobs wopnt bug them and they can do better work Ponies!
August 1, 200619 yr 1.5k tokkul from the gem shop per bolt If I did my math right (4 mill gp = 300k tokkul), that's 13.333 something per tokkul. Given that, 13.33 gp = 1 tokkul. At 1.5k tokkuls per onyx bolt, that is STILL 20k per bolt. If a dueler needs only 15-20 per duel, then ok. But still, these are for the serious of the serious. August 1, 200619 yr you can buy 1 bolttip for 1500 at gem shop and if you chisel a onyx you get 24 bolttips instead of the normal 12 u get you get from a gem I want to give a hand to whomever wasted almost 4 mill to find that out. Thanks! Next time you want to find something out, consider just alching a d chain... They're almost low enough... :) RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean?

August 1, 200619 yr remember, we have people who use ice barage in castlewars, alot. They use tons of cash for fun. I dont see why someone really rich wouldnt do this for a duel or important deathmatch ^^Click For Monster Hunting Blog (180M+ in drops)^^
