I was trying to find the best armour in the game and couldnt really find a good list so thought it would be a good idea to compile. From what I have discovered Drg armour would probably be @ 5. Can anyone fill in the rest???

well it depends on your definition of useage

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

verac = best for maging or using while praying. if u have to wear armor to cast spells, verac = best.

 

 

 

 

 

if your gonna go some where dangerous and may need to heal, then guthans is the best.

 

 

 

if your going to play minigames where u get hurt, but want to hurt other people, dharok is the best

 

 

 

if ur up for good defense, dharoks plate and legs cover that...and torags helm is the best, but really...is 10 defense points going to get you killed? @ 70 defense i dont think so.

and if u flat out have guthans, what the point of even wanting the best defense? u could wear full mithril and melee stuff for 20minutes, put on guthans and go back @ wearing your mithril...

as for barrows armor, torags has the highest defence as a set, although all of the barrows armor have very high defence

thats true...i hate that about it, a decent shield thats at least creative looking(dsq is to) and they make it garbage sort of.

 

 

 

 

 

personally defensive armor means little to me especially a shield.

 

 

 

i sold my obby shield, no need for the extra 20 def points compared to a rune defender.

 

 

 

in dragon chain legs + rune defener, its basically wearing full rune.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

id say id go with a rune defender over a shield any day. if i needed those defense points, i shouldnt be their or should have left that spot earlier.

if people were to bother and look at the actual stats of the melee barrows armor you would find that the following have the same stats:

 

 

 

body- guthans platebody, torags platebody, dharoks platebody

 

legs- veracs skirt, torags legs, dharoks legs

 

helm- veracs helm, guthans helm

 

 

 

so if we are speaking strictly in terms of defense stats, this thread has lost most of its meaning. i'm not going to go into detail on looks, practicality, etc.

EXACTLY. Jeez, I can't stand it. I don't mind the fact that you have to pay to get it repaired, but the whole fact that the stats lower on it makes it so worthless, AND to add to that you can't get it repaired half way.

How is Veracs good for maging? o.o

Barrows for those that can afford it.

 

 

 

Without a doubt, 100% positivly, rune should be in there.

 

 

 

Rune is SO basic, and SO awesome for f2ps.
