speedofsound
I was just thinking, in all my life i have never had a real adventure, never ever. I was wondering if anyone else here has had a adventure stuff like.... investigate the weird old man.... going into a abanded house.... things of that nature, a real adventure... If so share it with me. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." knives669
I've had many adventures. :P Out here where I live, there are places that used to be inhabited, but aren't anymore. Like... old abandonned small towns out in the middle of the country. There are also alot of old houses in the area that nobody owns. One day, two friends of mine came by and we went driving far out into the country to find some old houses and towns. We found this huge, old empty church that was incredibly creepy. We found bullet holes in the walls as well as dried blood on the walls and floors. Upon further investigation later on, we found that it was the scene of a murder a long time ago. It was very creepy. :? We go on lots of adventures. :)
fgfuyfyuiuy0
My friend and I raised enough money to go to France, by ourselves. It was pretty fun. We payed like $3k each and we were 13. It so happened that I turned 14, in Paris, France, on the Eiffel Tower. It was the best thing of my life. It was so gratifying to earn all that and have fun. We went to like 7 towns or whatever they call them in Spain like Madrid and I think one was Barcelona (I get confused with Carribean island name), then we went to like 4 towns in France including Paris. I <3 Gears of War 2. Add me on Xbox Live and mention you are from Tif :D

Oy_the_Great
Yesterday I went to get a sandwich, but I forgot my keys. I come back and notice this, so I stand in front of my door with this delicious 1ft long sandwich and (since no one was at my place atm.) decide to climb over the 12 ft high wall by climbing onto my bycicle, then the roof of a parked bus, then finally I lifted me on the wall and jumped into my garden. Despite the fact about 20 people were staring at me, I had some fun. Totally no adventure, but I don't feel like telling that story where I rescued 17 people from certain death in the Himalaya  The first part really isn't the most adventurous thing that happened to me, I'm just not taking this post too serious. Faux
Me and a friend kept on walking along the beach when I was younger. It was awesome since the beach gets nicer as we go farther. Got the yelling o my life after I went home though. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
____
Myself and 6 mates took on a major corporation because of their unethical, and borderline illegal, methods of advertising. If anyone remembers my post about DC Marketing a while ago - I'm talking about that. And given the end result, I'd say we won.

jak722
I once went with my best friend out in the field behind our house. After like a few kilometres of walking we found an wooden and corrugated steel shack behind some trees. It looked abandoned so we decided to go in. Im guessing nobody has lived there for many years. We found alot of old vinyl records, kitchen wares, toys, jewelry and other nifty old stuff. As what most 12 year olds would do, we looted. : I never did anything after that though. Im a good kid now. The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak. kido14
Other than a few adventures out in the woods behind my house. I guess my "biggest adventure" would just be my missions trips I've gone on with my youth group. Two years we've gone to NYC, and this year we went to help in Mississippi in an area affected by Hurricane Katrina. We had to raise most of the money on our own (with some donations from parents =D), by doing things like asking friends/neighbors for donations, carwashes, etc. Walking the streets in NYC or riding the subways in an adventure in itself =P. One time my friend and I were sitting at the back of the subway because there were no other seats, and we were so involved in our conversation, we didn't know the rest of our group got off :ohnoes: . This was back when we were rising 10th graders, and suprisingly I wasn't very scared. We got off at the next stop that we noticed, and someone from our group somehow found us  . Btw, cool idea for a topic  . Bubsa
On my recent trip to Newquay, my friends and I re-created a Top Gear challenge. I had to drive down to Newquay in a Suzuki Gran Vitara, while some of my friends had to use public transport. They got a a train to Liverpool, a bus to John Lennon Airport and flew to Newquay. I won! :D Do you know why? Newquay train station were on a strike all weekend. My mates were stranded for nearly the entire day! :XD: This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Biabf
Once me and my cousins were down at the coast (my grandad owns a beachhouse there and everyone can come and go when they please) We saw this huge fire and we asked if we could go (I was like 10), our parents said "Ok, but stay on the beach!", we did. We walked for like 5 miles and saw the fire and just stayed there for roughle 30 minutes. Halfway back we met my aunt. She furious because the adults only meant we could go a onto the beach a few steps away. :P We were gone for like 2 hours :D Btw, the fire was awesome! Pete_the_Viscous
Depends what sort of thing you regard as an adventure. The only thing that sort of qualifies that's happened to me recently was going sailing with a few friends on a boat belonging to one of them on the lake (Coniston, for those in the UK). It got a bit dark, we had a swim, and a fire, cooked some food until it was... well, soot, and then made our way back across in the dark. At one point someone pulled out a bung in the bottom of the boat, and water started gushing in. We had a go at putting it back in, but a chip in the side of the hole stopped it from being completely sealed. In the end we fixed it with chewing gum. That's not particularly adventurous sounding, perhaps... but I suppose it depends who's sailing the boat. deviantart account

So you've been captive by a crazy nurse, who told you to write a story for her and he cut off your foot and your finger? Then you got terrorized by a killer clown and then be the only person left on earth who isn't a zombie? You are also a physic too because of a car crash? Wow, I want that life, but maybe not the clown and crazy nurse :-k I <3 Gears of War 2. Ragen
I think I've had a decent adventure sometime >.< I just can't remember it. I guess I'll just tell you the story about the pyscho farmer then. I'd been playing football as you do, in the grounds of a public house. My friend *cough* skied the ball into the field over the fence. The farmer was in the process of harvesting his crop but he was down the other end of the feild so I guessed it was ok. I was in the middle of the feild, just picking up the ball when I heard a shot. The farmer had stopped the tractor and I thought he was shooting at me. I stood rooted to the floor as he screamed at me to "Get offa my crops". I stuck my hands up in the air so he wouldn't shoot me >.< This really pissed him off so he drove the tractor thingy towards me and started chasing me. Let me tell you, having a psychopathic farmer who just shot at you trying to run you down in a combine harvester is one of the scariest things that can happen to a eleven year old. I dived through the bush at the last moment. As I look back now, I realise that the farmer probally shot into the air (or his engine backfired) and that he would never really run me over. But at the time... I really believed he was a psycho. Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!
Make7upu101
I just got back from doing a program called Outward Bound which basically just sends kids into the wilderness with a few instructors. For 16 days I rode a boat along the coast of Maine stopping at different islands and learning how to sail/row. We spent most of the time on the boat although we made stops at different islands on the way.
