Everytime I fish for one minute or am having some lag, they log me out! This is way useless. I dont think thats necesarily for macroers...... so many people are to lazy to sign off.... imagine what jagex would have to charge for the 31764786 servers they need to hold the 871489748974 people online. and the option for 1 mouse is very useful... Anti
Seriously, why do they even have firemaking as a skill? Oh well, too late to change it now..... Does anyone happen to know death_siren? Birdd
Good point nazgul. What about chat effects? Where you can turn the effects on or off? Or mouse buttons, where you can pick between using 1 or two mouse buttons? Seems pointless to me. The two mouse buttons are for Macs because they only have one mouse button. SAGE
Seriously, why do they even have firemaking as a skill? Oh well, too late to change it now..... There you go again, Firemaking is usefull for cooking in places without stoves and so on. Heck firemaking helped me in Regicide when I made some food while stuck. Runecrafting you just do one thing and that is craft runes, just because it makes you money does that make it more of a skill then firemaking? Cooking you just do the same thing repeatedly for food so does that mean it is more worthy? No. Firemaking is a skill, it should be there, end of story. Greedom1
This is actually a very tough question given that even the most unused feature for me may be essential for someone else... Given that, I'll divide my answer into the following: Skills: Firemaking. Tip's guide for this used to claim that firemaking was "essential for all life in RS" or something along those lines. Now, I think they have come around to conclude this skill is worthless, worthless, worthless given that there are about 100 ranges throughout RS. Cities: Several come to mind, but NARDAH. Yes, in the desert. Yes, near the agility pyramid. Yes, THAT pyramid that hardly anyone uses anymore. While Nardah is a close bank for many things out there... like leveling on crocodiles  , nothing brings you closer to a bank (and tele) than Al Kharid with a glory tele. Most who train out here most likely do the glory route, though I could be wrong - I'm sure SOMEONE must use this place outside of the quests in the desert. Quest: (EDIT) Rat Catchers. (MAAAAAANY others could be added) The Cat pits which have been mentioned... (Games Room...*sigh* what junk...ADD PRIZES!!) Gameplay Feature: Chat effects. They look stupid, are annoying, irritate my eyes, and which is why I have them ALL turned off. Why then should they be here in the first place? Gameplay Feature, Round 2: The "Manual" before the Knowledge Base. This game is too complex, too dynamic for that junk... The KB was waaaaay overdue, and while it has let us all in several "secrets" only known to JaGex, Tip's guides and the Archive of Wisdom beat it by a 5:3 margin IMHO. Other Junk worth mentioning that has been said before: Trade Screen, Banking System, Chat Box... ugh, the more I think about it, the more I realize, the gameplay in this game is excessively complicated and extremely user unfriendly.... EXAMPLE: Why do I have to "add X-person" as a friend in order to respond to their private message? Come on, make the friend's list/ chat "feature" better while you're at it. Rant .out[/b] RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean? Esper_Jones
Most who train out here most likely do the glory route, though I could be wrong - I'm sure SOMEONE must use this place outside of the quests in the desert. Not everyone has 50 glories and bothers recharging. I use Nardah to train thieving every once in a while, and if you haven't noticed, it is the ONLY bank in the desert. If the desert continues to expand, would it not be more convenient to have a bank there than to continuously running back and forth between al kharid? Pyramid Plunder, Agility Pyramid, Quests are three things that come to mind. Jack of all trades, master of thieving. 259th to 99 thieving. Rant .out[/b] SKILLS: I can't agree more. CITIES: Nardah has great resources! It is the 2nd closes bank-to-fire place in the game. It has a person who id's ur herbs for you (used for ppl with herb buisnesses). Its also the nearest bank to the deset lizards and doesnt need a draman staff or quest to access. Finally, it has a nifty altar, which isnt used a lot but has a cool effect QUESTS: I actually liked that quest. There are too many really hard nerve racking quests and this was a nice change of pace. Cdub
Firemaking isn't the most useful skill, seeing as how there are many ranges around Runescape. However, without Firemaking would there be Splitbark armour? The Splitbark Body piece is an essential item in mid to high-level PKing. ok im not sure about this but eggs whats the point of birds eggs!!there pointless unless i am unaware of something im pretty sure there pointless At this point in time they appear to be useless. However, Jagex has said they will have a use in the near future.

Finally, it has a nifty altar, which isnt used a lot but has a cool effect "nifty" is about as useful as my "fixed device" from M.E. I or something or other. QUESTS: I actually liked that quest. There are too many really hard nerve racking quests and this was a nice change of pace. I know what you're saying, but I prefer to disagree. :) GAMEPLAY FEATURES: Makes the game look nicer i guess. No it doesn't. Without sounding too aggressive here, stop apologizing for Jagex. The chat effects DO NOT make the game look nicer, they make the game trashy and difficult to play with the public chat on... OTHER JUNK: You can just right click the person's name who is talking to you to add him to the friends list Jagex can just make this more streamlined than forcing me to create someone as a "friend" in order to reply to them...
