December 20, 200619 yr ok then.... lets just look at the sort of things a F2P person has in his bank... for those members that don't know... 1. Full set of Melee, Mage or Range armour including boots, gloves/vambraces and amulet - 8 slots 2. Food, varying types... say Swords, Cakes and Lobbies - 3 slots 3. Runes... Every F2P has runes... I myself have all 11 types... lets say minds, airs, waters, laws, fires, earths. - 6 slots. 4. Gold. - 1 slot 5. Jewellery, other amulets, crafting equipment - 3-6 slots 6. Wcing, Mining and ores - 2-6 slots 7. Fishing Equipment, and uncooked food... oh, and cooking equipment - 4-18 slots 8. Potions - 1-4 slots... 3 because you might have potions with 1 charge, 2 charges, 3 charges or 4 charges... many F2Pers don't know you can mix and match potions. 9. Rcing Items - 4-12 items.... and you think that we could do without this? On a lvl 50 I had already had to drop over 60K worth of stuff... considering hes now lvl 53 and I'm considering selling 3 mith longswords to the sword shop, It's a sigificant loss... He's never had more tahn 125K, and that was because of one succesful merchanting trip... which he dropped 60K worth of items for. I cannot merchant - I have no spare bank slots I can no longer fish - I have no spare bank slots I can no longer mine - I have no spare bank slots I can no longer do ANY skills - I have no spare bank slots and Jagex think that be making the F2P game sparse and boring they'll get more members? The answer is no... if there is no reason to play F2P many people would just drop out of the game altogether. Jagex are become oppresive to F2P... on the official suggestions forum it's an offence to suggest any of the ideas that have got 100s of supporters on this forum - or indeed, any F2P updates. Such opressivity can only go so far... Me and my friends have to SPLIT merchanting banking slots betweeen us... if we have a spare bank slot we ring each other up making sure that no one has got anything valuable they need depositing... its almost at the point of needing a new account just for the bank space... and you read the rules and you discover its against them... Jagex cannot - WILL NOT last long... if not for the steady stream of new lvl 3s being created by high level players to store items on.. naming no names... Jagex get millions every year from F2P... prehaps even mroe than from P2P... I know - from running my own website - that certain companies do not pay for how many clicks the adverts get, but how many times it is viewed... surely Jagex would have done something similar to ensure that the millions of ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâãÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâãÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã would go to them. And the P2P people say that we are greedy idiots that can't count... I don't know about you but I certainly can add, and adding up the MINIMUM number of slots F2P need its only 10 off of their max... and many F2Pers - even lvl 3s - have got full bank accounts... I have a full bank... and before you suggest dropping it I'll tell you this - it's full of stuff thats worth over 10K per slot... that means to sort out my non-merchanting problem I'd have to sell about 100K worth of stuff... and I don't have the time to get 100K... I'd get prehaps 60K... with which I'd spread out across my friends - to help them merchant with me... Not that I'm generous... just that with all that money sitting in my bank accuot I could spend it... and then I'd be back to square 1 with a full bank account... could P2Pers sit on 100 million and not spend it - if you had 100 spare bank slots? December 21, 200619 yr I'm absolutely all for increasing the free-to-play bank size. Free players may have six less skills, but I still find it a bit unreasonable to figure that they only need a quarter of the space that members do. I'm always running up to the very limits of my bank space, and my character's not even three months old yet -- I can only imagine what kind of bank space pinch free players of two, three and greater years are in.

Well all Jagex needs to do is replace the meaningless deposit box with a well needed "Lock Box" or "Locker". Whatever you want to call it I don't care, and it would have unlimited space but only for random events, holiday, and quest rewards you need to keep. As for treasure trail armor, they could make it so you can pop that in there but then your stretching it in my view. Rate My Sig!

December 22, 200619 yr and alot of us dont reely care for scimitars. I like to use a rune battle axe and longsword combo, oh and a rune 2 hand for a good old knock out. yeah be wery when fighting me im very underhanded. rune full helm better than coilf? perhaps for defence but it has a signifigant range penalty. Somewheres on this thread I posted an example of the stuff I had in my bank... well its value has only incresed. I have been f2p for over 2 years and I can't function half as well as I would like. I am no free loader, F2P is the game after all. further more members rely apon people such as myself who make up the base economy. I have no junk in my bank, just about the only thing I have thats of little use is my frog prince outfit. and what of the times when I get a good pk? am I supposed to drop my perficaly good stuff? No I say I should not have too. the ammount of contributing I have done twords the community is more than a mear 5$ can compare too. In my time I have lead many clans, have befrended memebers and modeators alike, have reported many serios offences, have helped people of all sorts from newbies from tutoral island to high level members. have indeed played a good roal twords the continued playing of sevrall people who have gone on to become members. please dont judge F2P as a bunch of freeloading charity cases, I am far from that. and what have I recived in terms of updates? the stronghold of security was nice but the items it comes with sit in my bank takeing up more space. the randome updates are nice if abit anoying at times but I cant keep barely any of the stuff I get from them, to make matters wrose I cant go to daingo to get replacements from randome events. Christmass of 05 was reely nice, I loved the maronets but this year its only costume. to make my point almost every update free to play worlds got involves more and more bank space to be taken up when none is given in return. even without the randome event items I couldent even begin to store some of the things I would like too. as it stands I am being inhibited from being half as contributive of the runescape economy as would otherwise be possible. We are not asking for much, just 12 more bank spaces to help accomadate the new stuff and the inadiquety for the old, or at the very least a change in the way randome items are handled. there is one possible reson why jagex would never do this, and that is that the apaling lack of F2P bank space is infact delibrate. the reson would be clear, jagex wants to pressure us into becomeing members. I for one do not like to be pressured into doing anything. If this is indeed the case I think jagex needs to seriosly re evaleate the value of there product, you get more flies with honey than you do with viniger. I don't got in my Bank a Chisel or Hammer and I'm a member, too. Look at a guide, How-to make a memberchip ;) it's very easy... I think F2P needs only like 5-6 Bankspace more but then it's very very enough. Agree with me? Edit: Ahh, and I always wore my Full rune or Wizard robes ;) soo you got 5 bankspace more (Helm, Platebody, Platelegs, Shield and Scimitar) and also I wore my boots, gloves and amulet on me.
