And yet, I do indeed agree on giving F2P's more bank space. Just because we loser member people get updates every 5 mins doesn't mean they should forget about the F2P who get one every 10 years.(figuratively speaking) Jagex should definately give F2P more bank space if they want to keep putting out holiday events, and random events for F2P to enjoy and make sure they aren't forgotten.

I agree, they should give us more bank space. For exapmle, im living far away from USA or other country, where i can pay for membership. Then i couldn't get theese advantages that member's have. There's a ton of new items and theres even more to come. And if we'll still have same space as before, what then?

i realy think we (F2P) can have 1 row more or... we could store our random events cloting at diango that holds the holiday items.

limpbizkit, from what you say, F2Ps are comparable to dirt while P2Ps are the kings and queens? So all of us are judged by whether I pay 5 bucks a month?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just so you know, most P2Ps used to be F2Ps, and there are still many F2Ps out there who would become P2Ps. If Jagex decides to close down F2P servers one day, their number of new membership would only decrease. For one thing, runescape doesn't have very good graphics to advertise to the world. The only way is to let people try it out and decide if RS is a unique game in itself. Making people thing that money is all Jagex care about won't encourage people to become members, that's for sure.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'll give my support to this thread, but I'm also thinking if Jagex can make it so that you pay a higher amount for the first time as member, in return for permanent increase in bank space. Not everyone can sustain a yearly suscription and play on and off. If they can do that, I'm sure people who can afford to pay every now and then won't hesitate to become one. The only thing holding me back is the fact that whenever you return from P2P to F2P, you have the trouble of selling your members item to fit your F2P bank size.

They use the ads to pay for the servers. I'm pretty sure there is some money left over. Enough money to give TWELVE bank space to each player. What the heck is wrong with TWELVE BANK SPACES that will barely affect members negatively.

If you can't...You have two options. Quit or deal with it. Most people would deal with it at first, but I'm sure some would quit sooner or later. That's potential money lost right there.[qupte]

We both NEED and Want bank space. We want it to have some flexibilty to store items. We need it because we cant store important items such as mining equipment, runes, range equipment, armor, woodcutting stuff, and our fishing stuff.

Jagex has no motivation to make F2P'ers happy. I personally feel they could care less if people stopped playing F2P. SInce P2P'ers aren't going to stop playing when F2P servers aren't up anymore. They have stated that their not going to update it so why would they now ?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And I believe all holiday/random items ( excluding old rares ) are stored in the Varrock clothing shop, once you obtain them. And at the comment(s) about the ad's paying for the servers... It was specially funny when they added bank space to p2p recently, as you needed collect all kind of junk in bank before that update as well to get your bank full in members :lol:

As a f2p ranger, melee, and mage, I have full green d-hide armor, arrows from iron up to addy, full f2p mage armor, and full rune. There's that, plus i have a rune pickaxe, and wc axe. but I have no place to store it, because my bankspace is taken up by items like prince robes and frog helms ( i have 10 of ea now) along with all my fishing, cooking, smithing and crafting stuff, so i cant really get anything new, because there's no f2p bankspace left. I don't know how many others have that problem, but i get tired of it.

Me to I'm a member but I once was a ftp player so I support this idea!!!

i see your point, not enough space in free play players' banks, but the idea of adding more just seems kind of, well, not pointless, theres a very big point, but if some people see jagex accepting a major idea like this, they will come up with their own ideas, and soon this will most likely happen, the free to play players will get another 12, or 18 spaces, and than everybody will be happy for a while... than later on, more items will come, free players will ask for more and more space, they will end up having nearly as much bank space as the members, i am not ranting, or flaming this idea as i have been seriously thinking of canceling my membership due to tons of homework from school, but i wont have enough bank space, i know i've been wishy-washy while wrighting this little statement, but i guess i would have to support, free play bank has what, like 55 spaces? thats not even 2 inventory loads of items... i think thats very, very small for some people who have played for years on free play, and they have to drop the sought after mime, and camoflage clothings, but for some people, they just keep the essentials, food, ores, gems, armour and weapons, but some people, once they pick up an item, they just cant let go of it, well, in conclusion, i guess I SUPPORT.
