i do think that f2p is a demo and demos are supposed to make people want to play a certain game but yet not hvaing the room to store all the things you want too have so this may accauly turn turn people away

Well, I think you might deserve some space, but if you say you can't pay 5$ a month, that is just ridiculous. Don't eat at McDonald's 4 times a week and you'd save a big. For me, bank space was the reason #1 to pay for P2P. And guess what? I fell in love with this! You can't really say you play rs if you haven't or have ever had members. Jagex won't give up for a money maker like that, honestly.

 

 

 

And you say you can't store all your stuff to your bank? Neither can members! Think about that. We have like what, 16 times your bank space (holy **** :o)? But there are like 30 times more items too.

You DON'T need every single general store item. When you smith buy a hammer, when you firemake buy a tinderbox... Chisel is ONE thing you need because you get a lot of gems.

Wood of various sorts (Regular, Oak, Willow, Yew) Burn them. Don't save them for later, unless you are going for a high wc level first then burn them.

 

GP (Money) = 1

 

Random Event Outfits (Full Zombie, Full Frog, Full Mime, Full Camo, Full Lenderhosen) [Make up a large bulk of the bank] USELESS

 

Quest Items (May have an average of 5+ items for quests) There is none....

 

Food of many sorts (Swordies, Lobbies, and under) All you need is one. Don't keep 3 sorts of fish. Just use lobbies. = 1

 

Strength Potions = 1

 

Trimmed Armour and Clothing of all sorts If you have trimmed armour no need no regular armour. Unless you are a pker ofcourse. Clothing idk lol I guess...

That's like 30\60.. It will probably be more that that. I cut corners for a player like me. But you should have 40 items that you NEED out of 60. You have tons of space but you don't know how to manage it...

 

 

 

PLus, in that account, many people would have a set of mage clothes and staffs, various costumes from randoms, (frog, zombie, camo, freaky forester), ores and bars, logs, talismans and rune ess, and the couple of items that seem to collect (partial potions, things that you kinda want, so on)

 

It may not seem much, but it is quite a lot, when you, in your case, only have 16 more bank spaces. the costumes alone can take up that many. So it really is hard to keep everything in a f2p world.

It isn't a demo anymore. If it was, why would JaGeX even bother doing anything? Why would they update the cities and graphics? It is now just as much a part of runescape as members. It has become the second child I guess you could say. It is a lure, but it is also the game, just a smaller part. The economy of the f2p world is related to the p2p world. Where are the most willows? The most air runes? In f2p of course. It is an important part, even if it isn't too big. And to help with the econmic endeavors of it, give them more bankspace so that they can hold more stuff to sell.

I couldn't agree more with you. I've been f2p 1 year and i still remember how difficult it was to keep space. I was forced to wear armour all the time and that incrases the risk that you lose it. I also threw a lot of stuff away because i had not enough space.

 

 

 

F2p don't get much updates, so i find that they at least get this small update, it would make a great difference.

You make some very interesting points. Although I agree with many of them, I still believe that to some extent you can't really argue with the 'You don't pay for it, you don't deserve it', on the basis that, they are providing the game for you for nothing in return. So surely you must think that why would they bother giving you that many updates?

 

 

 

However. That's not what its about. This is about more bank slots. And although I feel that jagex should feel absolutely no need to give you these slots, as you (essentially) don't do anything for them. Even so I think they should..12 ain't that many spaces.

I reckon that f2p definately needs more bank space, i remember when i was f2p and hit the limit :( it was soooo horrible i had too think about what to drop, especially as alot of my stuff was precious (well, for a noob) o well now im p2p i still gotta drop stuff regularly rofl so i campaign for more bank space all around!

I agree yet I disagree. With a free version there are obviously some drawbacks, like less bankspace. It's a free version so you have to expect things not to be perfect. That's why jagex has a payable version and a version that doesnt have bonus features. It makes sense that f2p doesnt have a lot of bank space because it's free. If you look at the irony of the situation, its pointless. Besides, I played f2p for about 5 months before getting members, since then I've had members for several years off and on. F2p is not worth playing, so throw in the tiny bit of 5 dollars a month you can to have a fun game, and not a game filled with ignorant 12 year olds crying because they cant find lumby.

I always run out of bank space. I like to work on a lot of skills, so I have to store a lot of items for later use. Same thing with pking.

 

 

 

Random event clothes take up a lot of space in my bank. I don't want to drop them as it took me a long time to get it.

 

 

 

Holiday items are just the same, but I have to destroy them so I have some bank space. Why should I destroy what I want? Sometimes it really frustrates me when I want to show friends holiday items, have a party, etc, and have to go all the way to Draynor.

It is actually just under 1/3. 19 out of 60, however you can keep frog tokens instead of the Mask, plus Prince Suit to take it down to 17.

F2P was never a demo. P2P has been the expansion set all along. F2P was out long before P2P, continues to be updated, and has no limits in available skills. There is much more on this further back in the thread, so I will leave it at that.

Apparently you don't realize how important f2p is to RuneScape as a whole. And not just non-members want this update. A lot of members and former members like me really want more f2p bank space.

Hey look i'm p2p and i am quite sure that f2p needs more scpace p2p has heaps of space the closest ive ever been to filling my bank is about 4 rows from the bottom ande im lvl 88. i think f2p should get 3-4 new rows
