June 5, 200719 yr I want as much space as members get so we keep everything and so do they, or just 3 more rows because if we change back top f2p (which i am) it will take years to clean out da bank. P.S when is the next 'protest' pm me all the facts , world, time in AEST and where it is thank tou RSN:Saberdart5"In and infinite universe, all things are possible"
June 5, 200719 yr i totally support (even though im not f2p) but its still not fair that there getting all these new items yet no where to put them.. but there only not doing it because its a avantage to pay them..
June 5, 200719 yr Less than a month ago, Jagex posted on Runescape.com that they'd officially reached one million members That is so wrong, on Jagex's website they say that they have over 5 million in 06, so Jagex is feeding us some bs somewhere along the line. This is the one part that one of us misunderstood-I meant one million paying members, I think you meant five million players. June 6, 200719 yr Ok.... i got a way to sovle this problem without eny update! BAN ALL NONMEMBERS AND CLOSE ALL NONMEMBER WORLDS! Nonmembers are not paying enything, then why give them more bankspace? I was now happy wen jagex began updating the grapics in nonmember areas there are lots of areas in member worlds that needs a littel makeup, but no we give the gready nonmembers more grapics becurse they dont pay, they deserve it NO THEY DON'T!!!!! I hate nonmembers (but they are still good'n'cheap workers)

June 6, 200719 yr f2pers only need 80 slots at the most. and most of those updates on the first couple of pots pointing out that f2p is "independant" and a whole other side of the game are bogus. holiday events don't count along with randoms since they're for everyone.
June 6, 200719 yr I believe that F2P should get that finished row and a whole new row. I remember being F2P when i was around level 40 and not being able to put my cooked chicken in the bank! =( [bleep] you all
June 6, 200719 yr I agree that we definitely need more bank space. I've been playing for over a year, and I don't have room for all my combat items and my crafting/mining supplies. And that's after dropping all my random event and holiday items! :x Join the campaign for more F2P bank space!

June 6, 200719 yr I think the biggest problem is when a P2P becomes F2P, like me. I have so much stuff in my bank (28 rows) that i can no longer use it to store new items (i have been carreing my mime legs and gloves with me for ages now). It makes you realize how little space F2P actuly has to store items. Add me to the pentition :) . June 6, 200719 yr Leave it to the reds to not agree with me... I am a non-member, and would very much like to see an increase to my banspace. I have to destroy all of the holiday items now andgo to Diango for parties. However, I really don't believe that we should be debating about this. It would be nice, but we are not contributing to the cash that Jagex will need to pay their programmers for the few extra hours or minutes(which may add up to an hour) which they have to work in order to increase our bankpace. That is, unless Jagex gives their programmers fixed salaries which I highly doubt but is definately possible. Also, why do so many of you paying members object to this? An increase in free bankspace will have no effect whatsoever on you. If I was a member, I wouldn't care, but suit yourself. June 6, 200719 yr Also...i think you or somesaid but...i showed 2 friend rs....they're now members...im still f2p so its like i paid them
June 6, 200719 yr I am sympathetic for your cause, F2P, but I am sorry to say, unless Jagex makes a large F2P update, the new space will not happen. Jagex is a corporation and cares mostly about profits. It really won't matter how many supporters you have, free to players are expendable for the most part. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
June 6, 200719 yr Not rly affecting me atm cuz im a memb but I remember when i was f2p it sucked having so little bank. I support 100% and add me to that petition. [blingkachi50]
June 6, 200719 yr This is quite a debate :-k On the one side F2Pers don't contribute anything to the game materially. They don't pay for anything so why should they be entitled to the same things as the paying players? Jagex may also restrict bankspace for F2Pers to try and make them become members. The solution to their lack of bank space problem is to get members, simple really lol. On the other hand the F2P part of the game is like a huge advertising situation. Players join the game then (hopefully) make the step up into members. If you infuriate them they are going to stop playing. Also Jagex makes at least a little more on advertising for F2P than P2P. Whenever I log into a F2P world theres the little advert there, I'm not sure about current costs etc of advertising, but multiply that by nearly 100,000 players at some time and thats quite a large audience. Personally I believe the f2pers are whining a little bit too much. They complain they ave nowhere to put their new stuff, well have you thought for a second that you hve this new stuff? The lack of bankspace isn't going to affect the rs economy as a)holiday items etc that you complain about aren't tradeable and b)any amount of objects that would affect the economy are bound to be stored, not chucked. Your cause is noble but you have to feel for Jagex. If they give in to this demand where does the buck stop? I think f2pers have gotten quite a few updates recently, and Diango does give you the option of storing the items with him. 12 spaces might be fair, but Jagex will have to weigh up the pros and cons, and im not seeing the first option winning soz :( RSN - pillow2005-------------------------------------Always selling prayer pots (3) 7kea
June 6, 200719 yr It's a great idea, and long overdue, but being cynical about it, i can't see that it'll happen. A quick tip that members might find useful to take note of just before their membership runs out (for those that have ended members to find they can't do anything at all on f2p without losing a substantial amount of items, potentially of great value). MAKE THE MOST OF THE EXTRA BANK SPACE WHILE YOU CAN. It's possible to put "slot-savers" for almost every f2p item into a p2p bank. If your bank exceeds the total f2p allowance, but the item is already there, you can still bank basically as normal. So the best idea for those struggling after membership is to remember to put space-savers for every conceivable f2p item in your bank, in readiness for afterwards. It's still a bummer for random event clothes like lederhosen and camo, but better than nought. On another note, I do support the idea for more f2p bank space, 12 slots would make a vast difference without disadvantaging any members at all. I don't think this is because Jagex "owes" f2p as such, it just makes more sense, and would make it more enjoyable for those who don't want to spend money on membership (like myself) yet still like to play the game. At its most basic level of analysis, members are simply glorified free players. They pay a little subscription to gain some crucial differences, but essentially all players are similar, at the very least we all start as f2p, so feeding the f2p worlds with a few updates would potentially gain a larger number of paying players. Since essentially all players are "consumers", it seems rather blinkered to stop all updates just because f2p don't pay a defined amount (ie disregarding lucrative advertising profits both from sales through the ads, but also the contracts for the ads on the webpage)... I know plenty of lvl 100+ players who've never been members who i'm sure would agree with that. Another point to make is this: f2p updates are available for members as well, so it doesn't constitute a loss of revenue - good f2p updates please EVERYONE. P2P updates, however good, can only please members. Simple numbers game = F2P updates = more people happy to play the game. Also, if F2P got some updates, it might work in Jagex's favour as more people would continue to play F2P before thinking "Let's get members" instead of just quitting, as many do. Bank space is cheap and easy to do, and would make a HUGE difference to existing players. So basically, it does make sense, but being an eternal cynic, i don't think any of this is going to make the slightest bit of difference, especially as Jagex refuse to officially acknowledge any sites but their own in the development of Runescape. As great as Tip.it is, do Jagex really care? I think not. Until all f2p players revolt by not playing completely, they'll carry on making their millions with complete disregard for f2p.
June 6, 200719 yr Im on the petition we need more bank space but not trying to be on the bad side u can destroy ur holiday items and diango in draynor gives them back if u ask for them....... Warning cute killer fluffy bunnies will rule the world after killer furbys BEWARE THE BUNNIES
June 6, 200719 yr I completely agree, and think that F2P should have more perks because: If JaGex continues to only cater to their members, they will lose the bulk of their players, which is where they get most of their money, and they will start losing members as well. Also, if they opened up more options to F2P members, more people would join, and usually, more members would follow. Since I am F2P, I think that I can speak for a majority of the free players in saying that we always appreciate anything new, a new quest would be a huge hit, and even something like more bank space. I have messaged JaGex multiple times, and it does not seem like this will happen. =[ PM me or message me in-game for whatever.
June 6, 200719 yr I agree that f2p needs a bit more space. p2p who are going to be f2p can end up having more bank space then normal f2p. all you need is to keep doubles of your items
June 6, 200719 yr I fully agree. I am f2p only, and one thing I have come to HATE is the fact that every two or three weeks I have to do a bank purge. I have gone through multiple zombie suits, not to mention all the frog items. Anyways, as you say in the main post, "Throw in the 19 pieces of Random Event clothing that they may collect over the years. That̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s 19 spaces in which they can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t store any other items they may need for skilling, pking, or merchanting." This can simply be rememdied. If Diango can deal with holiday event gifts, why not the non-tradeable random events gifts. It would be so much more simple. But I fully support more bankspace. IS that really too much to ask? It is impossible to exaggerate the unimportance of almost everything.
June 7, 200719 yr I really do support having more bank space for FTP. They deserve it...my boyfriend dropped his blue party hat and santa hat years ago to save bank space. Mind you, this was before they were worth anything. Everyone had them at the time. But that's besides the point. FTP isn't a demo...that used to be all there was to RuneScape. Yes, they don't pay money, but to some people , they either cannot afford it or they cannot get their parents to pay it. Add me to the petition. Even as a member, I still feel bad for FTP and how little bank space they have.
June 7, 200719 yr Look, I'm not going to spout all of that holiday item bull. I am, at this moment, a F2P member. I've been P2P various times since the time of RSC, and will become one again in December when I move back to the US. At this moment, I can NOT become a member. It is impossible where I live, I've tried. Now, for my character and why I need bankspace..... I am what you may call a Jack-of-All-Trades. I craft, mine, smith, fish, wc, mage, range, and melee...... I have gems, ores, bars, runes, arrows, weapons, armors, tools, fish, wood, picks, axes, etc. in my bank. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ITEMS I CAN THROW OUT!! Everything I have is of use and non-replaceable. Now, after I have ALL of these indispensable items, I only have 1-5 maximum slots for quest items, drops to sell, fish to cook, etc. As you can see, unlike many, I don't take up my bankspace with a load of useless items, and I also cannot afford to trash anything. If Jagex could at least complete the last row, that would be awesome. Giving one more as well would make us F2P'ers extatic!! And please, ffs, don't give us that bull about how non-members don't pay so they don't deserve anything. Adverts, the large about of economy and items they affect and move around, etc. makes them a VITAL part of RS. Improve the F2P'ers, and you'll eventually end up influencing and improving the P2P'ers with that update which was made. As for the F2P is a demo, there's SOME truth in that expression, but it is NOT a demo, and NEVER WAS!! It is true that F2P is used as a way to convince non-members to become members, but F2P was here WAY before p2p and RS worked perfectly... F2P affects Jagex and RS directly as well, in many ways. My point is, F2P'ers? The damn world doesn't revolve around you, so stfu. Sometimes you take it too far.... P2P'ers? The world doesn't revolve around you, either, so stop being greedy, snobby [wagon]. F2P plays a much more important role in RS than you can imagine. In the end, F2P and P2P is what makes Runescape, well... Runescape. Without one, the other is nothing. The best thing that can be done is to balance them so that P2P HAS is perks and all, but F2P is PLAYABLE. For those of you who only think about money.... Not all F2P'ers are going to permanently be F2P, and not all members are going to permanently be P2P. If you convince a F2P that its not worth it to play Runescape, may it be through mal-treatment, excesive cheating, unfairness, rudeness, ignorance, etc., then Jagex loses a potential future member. When a former-P2P goes F2P, permanently or temporarily, he doesn't want to be treated like a piece of [cabbage], like many P2P'ers treat F2P'ers. Piss him off enough and he'll do like all of my member friends did: Say screw RS and go to WoW. =[ Either way you look at it, P2P and F2P are both equally important parts of RS, and its always going to be that way, no matter what anyone does. The least you can do is make it a little more bearable and add a tiny bit of bankspace, eh? It'll make my training to get to lvl 100 combat and lvl 60 skills before I go member a lot easier and faster. =P   I SUPPORT THIS SUGGESTION AND WISH THE BEST OF LUCK TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE POSTED HERE!! May Luck and Good Fortune Shine Upon You All, Aarkon; MaximaAarkon(P2P); OmegaMaxima(F2P); Dark_Wiz182(P2P); Death_Galore(P2P); Crimzondrake(F2P); Dead_End42(P2P); and other characters I've had over the years.
