I'm P2P, but I will join this little campaign, since I know all about the "not enough space". One of the main reasons I joined P2P is 'cause of the extremely limited bankspace in F2P.:

Even if I'm most of time p2p, I have been f2p for over year and know the problem. I support this.

Oh yeah, I'd like to point out that f2ps did get some more bank space after the release of RS2, so yeah, omfg ownt teh nooby teh nooby

I dunno if you guys saw it, but JaGeX made a little flash animation showing a character struggling to put his stuff in a little chest the bank had reserved for him. He gets frustrated, then has an idea: He'll get members! He calls up, pays, and suddenly has this huge vault that fits many times the little chest he used to have. This is followed by text saying "Members Benefits: Click here!" This was an ad on runescape.com for a while I imagine, though I've only seen it once.

 

 

 

Personally, I kind of hate it.

 

 

 

I hated that advertisement too. It made me want to break rule 6 and rule 15 at that moment. Pressuring me to get members by pressuring my bank space isn't going to make me want to get members. It is just going to make me want to mule. Very tempting... I mean, I was already convinced I wanted to become a member after I saw all the areas and skills you got. The bank space pressure is just overkill.

what about those of us that come from different countries. to me its what $7.50 and thats with credit card (i aint payin by credit card) and if try other methods its what 15 bucks

Personally, I think that the decision to get 12 extra spaces is yours, just pay the $5 US for it. The only people who pay $15 are Australians who pay by text-message, and that's what-100 people? Personally, I pay around the same amount as you (50 cents less I believe), which isn't that much. Please don't say anything about your parents, I pay through the mail because they wouldn't let me pay otherwise.

I dont see why members have such severe problems with us getting a tad more bank space...they act like were reaching over and grabbing half of their cookie - if you understand what i mean

this is false there very much so was f2p and p2p in RSC, p2p members were the first to test the beta of RS2, plz get ur facts right

All that has been requested by the topic starter is 12 more, which finishes the partial row and adds one more.

They did eventually add P2P to classic, but yes for quite some time, they did not have a P2P.

The simple answer is a lot of them think they are superior to us because of a little bit of money they dish out every month. Others simply see it as they joined to get the bank space and we should have to, as well. The complex answer involves a lot of thinking which I have no intention of doing right now.

It would be nice. I've been playing for maybe 4 or 5 years and could use the space with all the new stuff coming out.

Banning Autoers

 

 

 

Improving the Log-Out feature

 

 

 

Creating new member updates

 

 

 

Free to play space will always be on the B side

Most of the people who need bank space have no "holiday stuff" in their bank to drop. Why is this? Because it is easy to re obtain. Even though I wear a woolly hat every time I range, I allow Diango the privilege of holding it for me when I'm not.

I don't even think that free bank space is essential. Free players have proven that there are so many items in the free game that bank space becomes a problem. I think this was intentionally done by Jagex to pressure more people into joining members, so I doubt that even if all the free players in Runescape joined this campaign it still wouldn't succeed.

 

 

 

Maybe if all the free players boycotted Runescape? :XD:

Jagex makes 5 million a month from members and who knows how much more from advertising, and they cant upgrade their servers to accommodate more bank space? As ive said before, a couple hundred gigs or maybe some terabytes, wouldnt hurt one bit!
