it's kind of unfortunate that a lot of members feel that way, einif. it doesn't affect you if ftp gets bank space so you shouldn't resent them if they do. there's plenty of other reasons why they shouldn't get bank space.

hey everyone! sorry it's been so long since i updated this thing. i moved to a new apartment and haven't had internet for a while. anyways, i'm gonna go look over the last few pages of discussion now and post some of the opinions in the main post. thanks to everyone for keeping this thread going while i was gone! lauren

tetris has no point at all. just wanna clear that up. and, as the proud owner of a wii, i agree that gameplay > graphics. i mean, i still play my n64 - not because the graphics are good (obviously, they're horrible by today's standards) but because the games (super smash bros, zelda: ocarina of time etc) are TONS OF FUN. and although this really has nothing to do with the article, i'd like to take this chance to say this: wii>360>ps3 and ds lite>psp s&l just sayin'.

an irl friend by the name of raven9144... really amazing guy, great friend. became a pmod a few months ago (actually almost a year by now) he actually became kind of obsessive... when i met him i was lvl 61 and he was like 30 something... now i just quit at level 78 and he's almost lvl 100

hm they're all very admirable and difficult to get but i'd say the easiest one to get is woodcutting because it's free - but it requires a lot of patience.

2gb max? for all of the millions of ftpers? i don't know that much about java programming but that can't possibly be right - that's like 50+ million bank spaces (12 spaces for 4-5 million people)

yeah but you don't need to hold all that stuff at once! most people don't train all of those skills at once.

saradomin's army went crazy... from like 30 members to over 100! although after they did some pruning they went back down, but they still at least tripled in size. and df got pretty huge too.

as i've stated multiple times, i AM ftp.

hm i really don't think the diango/npc storage thing is ever gong to happen. because like sizzlor said, it would devalue the costume room (even if it only stored a few pieces). and prankster_king, i think you're a little out of your element here :mrgreen: :wink:

one quick thing i wanna say about the animation: it's great. amazingly great. but his arm grows about five times thicker when he first reaches forward to dock (i think it's called docking... maybe it's nocking?) the arrow.

oh, no, we didn't mean to criticize it. it looks nice and it's definitely way better than the one i currently have :o it seemed like you were saying something along the lines of "ftp wants more bank space so the autoers will have more space to hold the stuff they auto" but it was our bad for misinterpreting it. i put it in the first post and credited you!

thanks for the sig, it's great! but like tetsuya said, it's not totally the point of the thread so if anyone else would care to design one, that'd be cool. ikgoogleik, unlimited bank space would take up so much space on Jagex's servers that it would be incredibly costly for them to maintain it. it's just really not realistic. charmed_pop, what you said about jagex focusing on giving updates to the high level members rather than ftpers is true, but to be fair, a lot of recent updates have been focused towards high-level members. at least an amount proportionate to the number of high level members, cuz to be honest most members are in the 40-70 range. What do you mean ptp bank space is very Restricting??? You guy get so much more then us Ftp-ers Yea you have about 5 times as many items but if u think about it most of your items are really pointless think about how many items you guy have in your bank that you will most likely never use. And if you want to know yes i was a member. I was a member for 2 (ened in novemeber)months then my parents stopped trusting the internet when my grandparents had their identities stolen. I tried every skill when i became a member (and hopefully not last) for the first time unidentified and identified,i had potions, quest items, herbs, mini game items, everything. and I still had about 1/4 of my bank space left. Well i didnt type all that i wanted because i forgot most of it as i was typeing but i probabaly post again sooner or later. Sleep for now Band Camp is soo hard FIVE times as many items? try at least 100 times as many items. a fair amount are pointless (like quest items, stuff like burnt bones, etc) but a lot are also important. and you really can't experience the full member... experience in only 2 months. actually, if you check the first post and the first few pages of discussion, a lot of people quote a statement from jagex where they say they basically break even on the ftp version. i am ftp. i have no problems with my bank space. anyone want a pic? people who don't think ftp needs more bank space aren't selfish. it's just that there's no reason for ftp to get more bank space and the time jagex spends making that update could be used for updates for members, who pay for the game to be constantly updated.

ugh. i thought it was horrible. waayyy too complex with too much happening - i had to read the entire book 2 or 3 times to understand the whole "draco malfoy was the master of the elder wand but then harry took his wand, thus defeating him and the wand protected its master when voldemort tried to use it on him so the spell rebounded and killed voldemort" thing. well horrible is an overstatement. it was ok. the ending wasn't too great though.

movie sucked. book didn't. neither did eldest, the sequel. and empire (the third one) probably won't either once it comes out. a few suggestions are: Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card Ender's Shadow, by Orson Scott Card Rainbow Six, by Tom Clancy Beowulf by... I forget who. The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis His Dark Materials (a series), by Phillip Pullman (i think)

unless you want to own the ogres at the range training camp, pc really is your best bet. as previously suggested, you could own full rune noobs at cw if you wanted, or if you feel like risk-taking, safespot some bronze dragons...

while this thread isn't about ptp bank space, i will mention that ptp bank space is definitely restricting. you really can't work on more than one members skill at a time or your bank will fill up (for example, you can either work on farming or herblore, but doing both will fill up your bank very quickly)

heh not a problem about the sig, infernalz. however, if anyone would like to design a slightly better sig (i made mine in ms paint, lol), i would greatly appreciate it (and credit them!) your opinion about ftp being deleted entirely isn't very common - a lot of people would claim you're being insensitive to the millions of people who, for whatever reason, prefer to play the game in the free world rather than the members' world. also, they'd probably say that ftp existing doesn't affect how you play your game. just saying. and thanks for the congratulations, prankster_king.
