August 19, 200619 yr This merely proves my point. If someone is capable of transgressing society's accepted general morality ("theft" is a no-no for most societies) over something as simple and unimportant as a GAME what can you expect from them when they come to something in their life that isn't SIMPLE and IS important? And the thought that you could go against your morals when it is convenient for you simply indicates that you do not really have any. Your ACTUAL beliefs do not change on a daily basis; they are basically "hard-wired" into your head. While they can change it requires a rather large effort and/or life-altering event to happen. So unless you play runescape with those "adapted morals" (thereby altering your beliefs) no more than once or twice a year, you are in denial when it comes to your lack of morality. Ummmm....... Just where did you get your combat level from? OMG! You killed things! You hard wired MURDERER! LOL! Go take your poorly thought out pseudopsychological garbage and say: "It's a game, only a game" 10 times fast. You'll feel much better. Your post obviously proved my point.......
August 19, 200619 yr Well, i always train with irons, anyone who picks those up is stupid. My Blog of random goals.
August 19, 200619 yr Wow! You got that from reading my post? Aren't you the smarypants O:) Are all of you REALLY taking this as a serious topic? Did someone earlier actually compare this with assaulting women? They are just pixels, right? Try saying "It's a game, only a game" 10 times fast. And no, you still can't have "your" arrows back, lol. Behind every avatar on runescape there is a real person. And these real people spend time to get their arrows. So basically you are "stealing" their time. Compare item scamming and "arrow stealing": Item scamming is a person taking peoples items (time) at little or no cost to them. And looky here! When you steal arrows you are taking peoples arrows (items)->(time) at little or no cost to your self (the cost is time). N.B. (I do not condone real world item trading) And also... however illegal it may be, some people sell and buy runescape money. However little it may be, you "could" be taking someones money that they were planning to sell or had bought with real money. :-s That was one of the worst arguments I've seen. Let's think for just a second here... Do you not understand the distinction between an actual group pixel which represents coding in a game and an avatar of pixels which represents a REAL person? Rahk "killed" pixelated monsters which represent nothing. That is different then "stealing" from REAL PEOPLE. Its a minigame. The first person to catch him gets a Klondike Bar and a handshake from Chuck Norris. Watch out those 2 combined may have adverse effects.
August 19, 200619 yr I find them irritating as the vast majority that tkae my arrows seem to be only taking them to annoy me, not to make any money or use the arrows, jsut to annoy. But I never say anything when they do, as I didn't pick them up so it is my own fault really. =;
August 20, 200619 yr I trained from 63-70 range at lathas training camp and I didn't take any of my arrows. Believe it or not, there were a lot of arrows on the ground and even more arrow thieves. I don't blame them for taking them, but I ask them not to. I don't think they should get them free when I payed big bucks for them. If they keep taking, I turn my Private Messages to friends and then switch worlds.
August 20, 200619 yr Hey, i don't take them, but you can't call it rude, if your ranging and want your arrows back pick them up in time! other wise get the **** over it because it's your own fault.
August 20, 200619 yr Didn't Jagex post in the rules Faq that if someone is picking up your arrows It is not stealing in any way, you have time to pick up your arrows in which no one else can, use this time or lose your arrows or something along those lines, without the general harshness. Also, if your training, your generally using inexpensive arrows, you should be able to replace them, and also if your training, you shouldn't care about your arrows get 'stolen' (As some people prefer to refer to it as), you should care about someone stealing your monster, and thus stealing your exp. Don't flame me about how you don't range to train, you range to get items and then you use those items to supply yourself with gp or exp for another skill. If your getting drops, you should be getting enough money to afford to replace your arrows from the drops. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.

Go take your poorly thought out pseudopsychological garbage and say: "It's a game, only a game" 10 times fast. You'll feel much better. Your post obviously proved my point....... =D> I take it you've given up, as there was no meaning at all behind that post? Rahk was describing our how our morals are set into our minds, and though they can be changed, it generally takes months, or as he stated- a life altering event. I'm sure that doesn't happen on a daily basis. But calling Rahk a murderer because he took down a Fire Giant, I wouldn't even dare call that pathetic, it's just flat out hilarious. You're argument against Rahk's post about moral's being set deep within ones mind is that Rahk is a murderer because he took down a few pixels? *can't....stop....laughing* Oh, and btw, stop hiding behind that "it's just a game" bs. It's not an argument, it's an excuse to leave due to the fact that you can't think of anything else as a response. August 20, 200619 yr arrow thieves are people that are not rich enough to buy there own arrows if you try and are not successful you are not trying hard enough
August 20, 200619 yr call me goody-goody, but I never steal arrows, they spent their money on it (Unless they stole them from someone else), so it's theirs to use, not mine.
