August 15, 200619 yr I don't steal arrows because i hardly ever range therfore i hav no need for them however i once decided 2 use the rune arrows that I'd got from a drop at fire giants. I only hav 41 range so it took me over the minute Now if i had been using iron arrows and one of the pure rangers that always seem 2 be there had collected them i wouldn't have minded but when im firing rune arrows and a level 105 in full drag, with whip, drag hally and with a robin set feels the need to steal a few rune arrows off me i got a little annoyed. I then spent the best part of an hour (I really had nothing better to do) waiting till he attacked a giant then as he ran to hisafe spot i would shoot them meaning they stepped out of his range and he couldn't attack them. Made me and the two pure rangers laugh no end  Add me ingame to chatGoals: 73/76 fishing
August 15, 200619 yr I don't think they are a problem at all. Can't steal my Crystal bow arrows, so they don't phase me at all. My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race. However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.
August 15, 200619 yr if you see that they are not picking them up after they kill the monster then i ask if i can have the arrows but i do not take them. i usually train with iron arrows or steel cause they are cheap and addy and rune are too expensive to train with.
August 15, 200619 yr What's to debate? Arrows appear just like any normal item that is dropped. If they pick it up, why should you get angry/upset and hurl insults at them because the game is doing what it's supposed to? There's no reason to say "It's wrong" or "It shouldn't be like this". It should happen, and if they want my bronze/steel arrows, by all means let them take them. I don't mind it. It's the same appearance time like any other item dropped--armour, runes, bones, Rares, Dragon items, and so forth. If you don't like it, change the system so that no matter what we drop it won't appear. (Or, you could come back to reality and live with arrow "stealers".) August 15, 200619 yr I thknk that if the person ranging has killed the monster a while ago and didn't bother to pick their arrows up, they're probably not going to and I'll take them. But if they're still fireing at the monster and some show up, I leave them since they may kill the monster and then pick them up. It's very mean to steal them while the person's still in combat, since they haven't had a chance to take theirs back yet. In other words, if it's obvious that they don't want the arrows, they're fair game. But if they still might want them, leave them there or ask before you take them. Obtained quest cape and base 92 before obtaining any 99s! Currently finishing out my 99s with the (long-distant) goal of comp cape.
August 15, 200619 yr IMO, arrow thieves are pretty worthless, especially when they steal 15 iron arrows b/c they want to use them to range some (lol, that's like what, 150gp they're stealing?). I generally don't like to do it, but sometimes at the Blue Dragons or some other crowded place if I want to thin the crowd out I'll steal a pile of arrows or two to make some people leave :P . [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
August 15, 200619 yr what goes around...comes around. you steal arrows you get your arrows stolen (unless you kill fast enough  ) Disregard females. Acquire currency.
August 15, 200619 yr If they're on the floor, they don't have your name on them. I don't see why people get so irritated with this. SHH HUT YUH MUH. DERKHED.
August 16, 200619 yr poor people who need to make extra $$ 180th to 99 Divination + 1st W36er Rambo, cannot pk call your friends bro :). Wait nevermind none of SAPK/PKS can. Kappa.
August 16, 200619 yr I usually don't let them show up, in turn not having a problem with arrow stealers. However if they do take it, then I ask politely to have them back. If they say no politely, I let it go. If they're a royal pain and rude, I lock myself in a battle of wits with them where I usually win and get to add some funny pwnings to my signature. I only steal arrows when a person blatently walks up to me and deliberately steals my spot, and then proceeds to be a true **** about it.
August 16, 200619 yr *shrug* They're profitable for me, I was ranging something once, forget what, someone walks up to my arrows and gets beefed up big time! For parts of rune full (Lol) and best of all, my arrows! Hehe, then he came back and called me a thie \ f
August 16, 200619 yr Heh, quit complaining. What good does it do? Your right. I would get a more intelligent conversation from a wall. Good point. Nice defense for being randomly cruel, though. "Stop complaining, we will be as lame as we want, so THERE!!!" ... wait I see a rather interesting knot in this oak pannelling... I will get back to you when it makes less sense than you. Bye. August 16, 200619 yr As soon as those arrows appear to everyone It's anybody's arrows. Just like a fumble in football or when someone drops a 20 on the ground. Therefore I feel justified in picking up something that doesn't belong to anyone. They had 30seconds to a minute to pick it up. I saw it I picked it up. It's mine. End of story. And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.

I think you need to calm down I think you need to read the rest of the interactions between us. Unless I say something about someone's mother (lol, not going to happen) I am not being personal. We had a disagreement about something and we spoke until it was resolved. I do not think that he/she took it seriously and his/her end reply, while brief, was the epiphany of maturity. While my posts were sarcastic they were sarcastic for effect, not giggles; therefore no undue "excitement" necessitated "calming". The issue resolved itself without you telling me what to do... but thanks for the advice. My advice to you is to read all of somebody's conversation before posting your opinion on a snippet of it. August 16, 200619 yr Just get a crystal bow :wall: or enchanted bolts (Quit: tallest please come to the death altar, give me 1,337,000,000 gp, a golden tinderbox, and a spade, also steal one of zidanes phats and give it to me.
August 16, 200619 yr This topic could also be called: what do you think of people who want to kill too high level creatures with bow and arrows! I adapt my arrows to the creatures that i will kill. At this moment fire giants rank mith arrows. So what do I think of a lvl 52 ranger who tries shooting fire giants with iron arrows? Well if there are 4 people and they take away "my" fire giant (I kill them with about 10 shots) then I have nothing else to do but wander around and look for stuff on the floor. If there are stacks of iron arrows on the floor, whose are they? These arrows were on the floor so long that the person who lost them probably does not want them anymore? 2100+ total 3rd best skiller ever at 99 combat (maybe the best, highest total below 100 cb)99 Cook 99 Fletch 99 Woodcut 99 Firemaking 99 Range 99 Mage 99 Thief 99 Fish 99 Agility 99 Mining 99 Runecrafting 99 Hp 99 Slayer 99 Smith 99 Hunt 99 Construction 99 Craft 99 Farming
August 16, 200619 yr I think that it is incredibly lame in nearly all situations. Now if some smart alec starts mouthing off from his safe spot I will gladly steal his arrows until he leaves. Be a jerk and get your rewards. In all other situations I will not take somebody else's arrows. It is just lame. Free game after they appear blah blah blah but it is still just as rude no matter how you try to justify it. Occasionally I will do it as a joke or to keep ACTUAL thieves away (trade them back after their kill). I will not be surprised if half the people say that they steal them (or "only addy or rune") because half the population of runescape is selfish punks. You can't complain about the community going to hell when you do your part to point the directions. :wall: Go ahead and justify it in your head. It doesn't make it any more correct. It's a game. Arrow -theifs- don't know you, or don't WANT to know you. They don't need to be nice to you either. They can play as they want as long as they don't break the rules. I take arrows all the time, because the rangers slow down my slayer tasks or training. If they want their precious arrows, they should run out of hiding and pick them up. If they want their precious arrows back from me, they're paying for them. call me rude, call me an ignorant little punk. I honestly don't care, as long as I get my training done : As soon as those arrows appear to everyone It's anybody's arrows. Just like a fumble in football or when someone drops a 20 on the ground. August 16, 200619 yr To further show that arrow -theifs- aren't in the wrong, here is a quote from the list of JaGeX rules. Concerning Rule 2, Item Scamming: """Q:If someone picks up my arrows is that scamming? A:No, if someone picks up an item that you have dropped because you no longer require the item then this is not item scamming. When you drop an item it takes a short length of time until it becomes visible to other players, so even if you drop the item accidentally you can still retrieve it again before anyone else has the chance to pick it up. """ So, go on taking those arrows, they must not be worth as much to those rangers as they make them out to be! : Yes I am a girl. No, I won't be your girlfriend.

Psst.. RS.. And real life.... Aren't the same thing  You simply prove my point. The whole idea behind what I said is that arrow thieves are selfish. The reason for the decline in the general runescape population is due to selfish people such as yourself. You "honestly don't care, as long as I get my training done :^_^:" because your are a selfish person aka another person bringing the rs community down. As to the rl vs. rs comment: the logic used to defend "theft" on a game is the same logic used to defend "theft" irl. Both are wrong and selfish while still remaining technically legal. Few people do not understand the concept that arrow stealing isn't illegal; the point is that its selfish. Regardless of how you choose to defend your actions it still boils down to you choosing your own happiness and pleasure over another person's... aka yet another person making the general community worse than it was before you arrived.
