ghostman
Noob is what i call an annoying player who doesn't work for his goods/begs/is annoying. A newb is a beginning player who doesn't know what he/she should do. Currently P2P. I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand. Guest TaDaraCampbell
I prefer newb as it is not quite offensive, and it is a correct term for a new player (though usually i like saying newbie better). Noob is something i will only say if someone is really noobing me or my friend, there's those few that actually should be given such a name, but noob can be quite offensive. Angelic
Non of both, atleast I try... When someone is begging, following me, and spamming my window screen full with trades, I just say: "Stop acting like a noob, you won't get anything from me!" Or you can report them for harrassment :P

Foption
They're all stupid variations of the same childish word. The only time I have ever used the word "noob" in my life was when someone was fighting me in the Wild and kept calling me a "noob." After a little while, he ran away, so I followed him and kept calling him a "noob" in reply all through Varrock. The word annoys the hell out of me since people just say it without it meaning anything. Like people who used to call my defence pure a "def noob." Yet I could fight four people at once (at that level) while sustaining very little damage. This is...bad? (Rune armour at level 30-some-odd! Woo...)
