i c lots of strong players call weaker ones either " noob " or "newb ", but wich is the correct one? i personally think it's " noob " cauz thats wat the stronger players used to call me...

Noob is usually a higher level person acting like they have no idea what they're doing.

 

A newb is, well, a newbie, a new player, and nothing should be insulting about that.

 

 

 

I think neither is right, especially if you say it the wrong way.

"Noob" does not equal "newb" in any way, shape, or form.

 

 

 

But in any case, I'd call a low leveled person a "newb" only because it's technically the nicer form of the two.

None of the above. Any version of the word "Noob" has been so overused it has lost all meaning.

When someone is begging, following me, and spamming my window screen full with trades, I just say: "Stop acting like a noob, you won't get anything from me!"

I don't use either. To me they are just something people with no imagination use when they can't think of something new to say.

I'm using noob, but I think that newb is more correct, beacuse it means new player, and the most of the irritating people in Runescape is new players that often beg for money and stuff. But there are also some few high level players that can be very irritating too, so those you maybe should call noob :-k :?:

Used to yell it out on every occasion i got, but now never anymore, I must have grown up.

I haven use "noob" since the month of july.

-NOOB: can vary lvl 3 to 126. It is implied to a stupid/hateful person.

 

 

 

-NEWB: can vary lvl 3 to 30. It is implied to new and unexperienced players.

ive neva use newb and i only call ppl noobs if they r annoying me or being hateful or something

Hardly ever use the word newb, and I only call people noobs who really annoy me, usually annoying arrow stealers or people who think its funny t play with the gate at the heros guild blue dragon :evil:

I use newb on occasion, but never noob because it's become a derogatory term, even though true 'noobs' do exist, it's used waaay too much these days - so much so that I try to avoid the word at all costs.
